Thanks so much! This is the third one we’ve done in this series. We always try to combine a deck profile with introducing people to fantastic players/creators they should follow. And we want the deck to recently have performed well. So, we try to hit all those marks. But we definitely will be making more! ☺️

I've been solo pushing Hades 2-3 in my 20 lore pro thread... Completely agree, card is so good into so many decks, not just Mufasa.

How are you listening to it? We triple checked it, even post upload and it seemed just fine. Trying to figure out who is having an issue and why so we can fix it!

Your volume is usually very very low during the live show - which is unfortunate - but this time I think it’s spot on! I know it has to be hard sharing the mic with your wife, the baby etc - so you get a pass! Great video. No audio issues on this one. Hopefully he’s talking about the other shows. Because this is perfect.

Here is a guide to consider - the mic is an ice cream cone - you’re using a condenser mic with pretty amazing noise rejection. You need to be right up on that mic for it to pickup. When your share with your wife - you both need to be up on that when you talk. If your head turns or you’re not max 3 inches from that mic - it sounds soft. You’ll get the hang of it!

Rewatching it I can tell you boosted your levels in post. You’re too far away from that mic. If you want a mix that lets you be far away or you and your wife to talk without a lot of fuss - a shotgun mic or two of them pointed at you from above out of shot would work great. Think Jimmy Fallon more than podcast. You never see them miked because they are all out of shot. Or - just keep going and not worry about it. But eat the mic more and it will correct a lot of problems with the audio. Thanks again!

Is there something you would swap currently or change? I'm switching from R/A to this as I can't play the bounce package anymore. It got so boring. I like the ramp aspect and playing big powerful cards. The small gramas are spicy as I have seen no list playing it currently. I was thinking about Montonui with maybe some Rocket Stitch combo or so.

Develop Your Brain is a perfectly fine card. I basically just didn't have room left for it and didn't want to play more than 60 cards. Our team put a lot of thought into each individual card and what match ups they were for and came to the conclusion that DYB just wasn't needed. If you end up with any flex spots when building your list, DYB is still a perfectly fine card.

I ran this in two store championships and got destroyed. Most likely it was piloting error. I couldn’t get it to play well in a consistent manner. I think I’m going to go back to a more standard red/blue list, I was having more success with that. Thanks for the video though, lots of good advice in here.

@@Illumiteers lots of red/purple, steel/purple, green/steel. My main problem was that I couldn’t get a consistent ramp going. By the time I got control it was too far gone. I also got burned by mulligans where each card exchanged was uninkable at least 3 different matches.

Ah. Bummer. Yeah, the uninkable bug can get you. I will say, if ramp was the issue, this deck is actually designed to ramp quicker than the traditional build as it swaps Tala for the Queen. But if it was aggro giving you trouble, then throwing the Queen back in may give you a breather.

@Illumiteers totally agree! This list definitely plays more ramp than most lists in exchange you do lose some points vs aggro.

How’s he playing flaversham when he’s got 3 ink ? It’s alway fishbone

He is saying if you start T3 with 3 ink from a T2 One Jump Ahead you have the option of inking to 4 and dropping Hiram early to generate card draw or drop Fishbone to start ramping depending on the matchup needs

@@Illumiteers I guess you really need the fishbone to ink those 7 drop uninkable. I had some games without fishbone and got stuck in ink quite bad.

The deck is gonna struggle against a super aggro deck esp no early game answers until turns 4-5.

Likely. It’s a meta call and hyper aggro doesn’t seem to be too prevalent right now. The plan against hyper aggro is generally to ramp into a BP on turn 5. Works much better on the play, obviously. But no deck is favored in every matchup.

So you change nothing to help Vs aggro ? After the 10k, I imagine seeing aggro everywhere.

@RLA1983 if you expect more aggro, definitely can add the queens back in. But if you're first action on turn 4 or 5 is Be Prepared, you can steal some games vs aggro. I built this list to beat RA, RS, and Mufasa since those were the most popular decks in my area.

@@explorcanaI get that but half the time, the small creature your attacking into makes you discard. Is it better to run 2 drop grandma with teeth ?

This deck looks so fragile to the current meta specifically vs emerald decks

Every deck has good and bad matchups. Having played it, this deck performs as well in the current meta as most if not all others. Personally, I dislike the emerald steel matchup with this deck. But it does very well with many other matchups.
