Thanks so much for this! I just bought myself a Recording King Dirty 30s resonator and a slide. This is the first song I am going to learn on it.

@@geraldhoffpauir5048 That actually IS a Gretsch. You can see the side fret markers on the fretboard, and it says Electromatic on the headstock.

Iguess we don't all hear the same thing. Now this is extremely good, just not hitting it and missing that thing You know that thing in the later Dust My Blues that was Chicago city jump blues & not Dust My Broom which was delta blues at its best. There's a difference. I'll get it one day.

Thanks. Is it better to use the slide on your ring finger or on your pinky?
@williamolsen20
@williamolsen20 6 жыл бұрын
I have tried many ways, and I am not saying I am a good slide player, but I think you have to find out what is comfortable for you.
@chuckHart70
@chuckHart70 6 жыл бұрын
Pinky if you can I think is best for most, but some use ring, I have even seen middle... I think the ring, which is what i use, does restrict your ability to do some things... so I would learn pinky... middle if you want as well.
@vainolampinen5722
@vainolampinen5722 6 жыл бұрын
Really depends on what you are playing so therefore it would be useful to learn both. I personally prefer to use slide on my ring finger since that way i can play rhythm too.
@bulzah
@bulzah 6 жыл бұрын
i use pinky for one main reason. Fretting behind the slide is way easier for me at least, and i have way more control with slide on my pinky finger.

Thanks for posting this video but I can't work out the turnaround, so I've visited your website to buy the TAB. However, I can't buy the TAB because I have to become a member and I can't become a member because I can't find the registration screen. I've tried logging in in the hope that this will lead to your registration section but all I get is an error message telling me that my login details are invalid or words to that effect. Can you help?

That’s a big guitar how did chuck Barry Led Zeppelin and link ray groups of billydogeet play it and this guy can you easily play it or stretch your arms and hand to play it till you get used to it and adapt to playing it it’s long and wide and huge that bad boy is guitarzilla maybe or bigfoots guitar lol but it is a cool guitar I like those sounds like Led Zeppelin guitar which he also played one time I think jimmy page did one time and another one in that band another time as well as two guitar handle or doubtable handle guitars as well as other link wrays too that two handled one was link wrays also the sound of it
