This channel focuses on combat flight simulators like DCS World and IL-2 Great Battles. If you play either of these games or flight simulators like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and enjoy aviation and dogfighting then this channel is for you. Even if you are coming from War Thunder and BF2042, you can learn to fly these combat flight simulators.
I play using TrackIR5 and do not use VR, this means that I am able to capture footage for tutorials, how-to-guides and other multiplayer tips and tricks video in 1440p.
Eagle Dynamics has made it easier than ever to learn DCS because the game is technically free. The game has the F-15, F-16, Su-27, Mig-29, Mig-21, Mig-19, Mig-15, F-86 Sabre, Jf-17, Mirage 2000, F-18 Hornet and F-14 Tomcat. There are soon other modules coming such as the Mig-23 and F-4. Lastly, there are helicopters like the Mi-24 Hind and AH-64 Apache.
The same is also true for IL-2 Great Battles. With Battle of Stalingrad, Battle of Kuban, Battle of Bodenplatte, Battle of Moscow and Battle of Normandy being released, there is an immense amount of variety covered. The Bf-109, Fw-190, P-51, Tempest, P-47, Mc.202, Stuka, Ju-88, He-111, and so on are all in the game. I focus on making videos to make that part accessible so you can dive into IL-2 Multiplayer.

Note the FAQ will be updated just before launch. *We are aiming for a March 4th launch.* The reason for that is we will need to adjust some values to make sure the front feels elastic, meaning it's not too rigid where it doesn't move or too fluid where it's a zerg rush. I am so excited for this. ECW has the right mix of combat set in an excellent era with strategic depth all against other humans! I used to be happy flying around in helicopters on PvE servers but after ECW v1, it was impossible to go back. Bravo to you all and thank you so much for sharing your talents for the benefit of the community.

Great work ECW team! I look forward to seeing how it plays. I hope Blue Flash will also upgrade to this code base so we can enjoy this dynamic campaign with a wider selection of airframes and weapons. Thanks again for your time and work! If it wasn't for you I don't think as many people would play DCS these days. The ECW player base account for a significant % off the active DCS MP community and has probably sold more modules than any other server.

This is some spectacular work your team is putting into this project. I tend to be really bad at dog fighting in sims like IL2 or arcades like WT and I'm afraid I'd be a waste of resources in the more strategic game(mode)s like this; but, it seems like you guys put a lot of thought into players that either don't want to dog fight or have a hard time dog fighting and allowing them to contribute heavily to their team's effort. I'm somewhat surprised Eagle Dynamics haven't approached you or your team (that I'm aware of) to make this some sort of official module or provide direct support for the project. I have a passing interest in playing DCS but, as above, I don't believe my fighting skills are up to the task. This project is turning me around to the idea of purchasing a Coldwar module or two and checking out your server.

I don’t like dogfighting but I love this server because I love flying the helicopters. It’s a great way to contribute to the war effort and not have to be dogfighting for your life constantly.

Hurrah for the absolute top tier of multiplayer sim gameplay. Nothing else, in any game, comes close. Super duper excited for the expanded strategy layer. If ED had a brain in their collective head, they would buy this system, develop a few internal enhancements (i.e., adapt Combined Arms for frontline units), and sell it as a module for all servers. Very impressed. Congratulations.

Couple other servers Ive come across have gotten the AI to move and shoot at eachother but I imagine its incredibly taxing on the server.

the issue with AI moving is lots of units moving longer distances, shorter distances arent too bad
