I have been playing sheephead for 90% of my time on this planet. At the inlaws other night, euchre was brought up for the next family gathering. I have 30 years worth of habbits to break lol Thanks for explaining the terms and pronunciation. Cheers from Wisconsin.

I adore Euchre! It’s been so so long. I’m really good at it, except for the scoring rules. Haha. I always let the others take care of that part.

Is bidding “No Trump” on the second round of bidding considered a different option? It makes Euchre an easier version of Bridge.

No, you have to call a trump each round. If it goes all the way to the dealer, he is “stuck” and has to pick a suit, regardless if it is advantageous or not.
