Hi. I mainly use an old software Magix Notation 2 which I have had for a long time which is used in this video. Its a simple software that does the basics. But I have recent got Cubase 10.5 which came free with an audio interface. This is better for music composition but I am still learning all the functions. There are lots of video tutorials on the cubase software but I could not find one on writing complex tuplets and had to figure it out the hard way. Out of the two I own, Cubase is better as it comes with lots of drum and backing tracks. But there are lots of music software out there and its really about what you are going to use it for. Thanks

Hi Dipupo. In the context of this video, when you hold down a key, you are using your muscles to overcome the force of the key springs. You only need to use enough force to do this. If you use more pressure than this, then you are adding unnecessary tension to you fingers. So try to relax your hands when playing and be conscious of how much pressure you are using to hold the keys down. Do not grip the saxophone with a tight grip. Experiment to see how lightly you can play which may also reduce the clicking sound that saxophones make.
