CORRECTION: As per the FAQ, ghost minis are placed on the haunter ghost cards as soon as they appear. The first time they are activated, they advance to the first space in front of the card, and the second time, they haunt the closest un-haunted village tile.

Thank you. The rulebook was very poorly written.

Sure was. We played this one twice on the show because we got so much of it wrong the first time, and if memory serves, we figured out we'd screwed up something else the second time after the fact, too. So this video isn't QUITE the whole story. There's an FAQ on BGG that may fill in some gaps
