Very nice tutorial, but from the sheet music I've seen before (and other performances) the top grace note should be E natural to F (not e flat). So sort of based on the melodic minor (with a sharp 4th)

Great tutorial as usual, Francesca. It looks easy on paper, but is deceptively difficult - mainly with getting that rhythm right! I was reminded of this piece again after watching 'The Queen's Gambit'. I was just wondering, if you've seen it, if you know what the piano piece is that's played by Alma in Episode 4 (in the hotel lobby). I can't find it on the soundtrack notes. Sounds Russian - or it could be Chopin. I'd certainly like to learn that, too. Thanks again.

Much more advanced pieces should be learnt with a teacher - that piece is above grade 8 level and not suitable for a KZfaq tutorial 👍🏻

This really isn’t the best first piece to learn if you’re a beginner. I’d focus on learning simpler pieces first.
