I've heard rumors of an expansion ... hoping to hear more from my friends going to the Fantasy Flight Report at GenCon in a couple weeks.

@@DaletheCasualGamer def! im excited about gen con, but FFG kinda has lost it charm for me. been buying there stuff since 09' with descent 1.0. but as of recent they have pretty much been star wars flight. and since the loss of GW properties..just not really into them. other games i recommend is blood bowl team manager. its amazing. love to see some matches with that. its a hidden gem!

Since they were bought out by Asmodee, they have virtually been Star Wars exclusive with regards to quick game and expansion support. :/

FFG under Asmodee does seem to have abandoned Terrinoth for the big-franchise items. The Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth is pretty generic, and I suspect that it was a Terrinoth game during much of its development, with the LotR characters and locales more or less just painted on (and, from the videos I have seen, not particularly well). This does not bode well for any expansions for Heroes, which is a pity. It is an entertaining game with plenty of room to grow.

@@majkus yeah i think terrinoth deserves more attention and development. has room to grow! with novels for example...i could use a good fantasy novel that isnt written by margaret weis...please! but yeah...i guess we wait and see. gencon will reveal all

There is no review where you get as excited as playing the game. Very nice work, Dale.

Currently only the base game, and the designers have been making other games, so no expansions noted for release. So for replay-ability, I'd say its limited. Change heroes, or player count. It's a fun game, and I feel I got my money's worth, and would play it again if the group wanted to play, but no plans to play again solo. Hope that helps.

@Andy Thomson Unless I'm missing something, enemy activations would not have an effect on spawning enemies ... keep the baddies coming! Hope that helps.

I read some more threads on BGG and the consensus there was that if there are no enemies engaged with heroes or left in the shadows then you keep cycling through the turn sequence until you either travel and spawn new enemies or the doom tracker tells you to spawn new enemies

I’m not sure it is meant that the damage must be distributed evenly, so if I chose 3 targets with 3 damage, I could distribute damage as 1-1-1, 2-1-0, or 3-0-0 as an example. Obviously Carlo Tibaldi is wrong. I just quoted the Rulebook. It's not an interpretation. It litteraly says "divides". 3-0-0 is not a divide. It takes 3 damage and it's not dividing it among the targets, but keeping it onto just one. If we are 3 people and someone give us 3 apples to divide them among us, me taking all 3 apples and you two taking zero will not be fair and not be an actual divide. 😋 Multiple targets attack should not become a Single target attack, just because we don't like the damage division (distribution).😉 And the developers could've easily set a rule "Freely choose how to distribute the damage", which is not the case - it's clearly says "...the hero divides the successes among the targets."

@@Michael.Virtus you're incorrect. Divide means to split up, it does not say "equally" divide among enemies, therefore you can decide to split up the damage by giving 3 to one enemy and 0 to another.

@@weemanling you are going semantics, but in the end it doesn't make sense to use multiple target attack but to do damage to a single target and on top of that to decide who to kill. Absolute nonsense.

@@Michael.Virtus the point is it gives you the option to spread more damage if you get higher. It's to mitigate rolling seven / eight successes and yet having to dump them into one target with 1 hp. You're extrapolating meaning to a phrase with no basis in the game. There is nothing that says "when you target multiple enemies you must (if possible) split the damage up as equally as possible among those enemies, assigning one point of damage to each enemy first before deciding where the rest goes. A pool of wounds is generated you then decide to divide that between enemies selected. If I choose to split it 3-0 that is just as equal as 1-1-1. Otherwise there would be no benefit to wasting damage if you can't confirm a guaranteed kill. Your assumption has no basis and is a misinterpretation of basic English.
