@@triliner254 I somewhat agree with the memorization part. It is obviously better on the long term, for example, memorizing where heavy-oriented teams usually go on Himmelsdorf, then going to a position, where you can counter them. If the reds go where you expect them, than its fine, but, if the reds don't go there, than you need experience to realise what the reds' tactic is, and how to adapt to that situation. But on some degree, it can be memorized as well.

That gun is soo good. It destroys heavy tanks, especially german ones, and to be able to pen a hull down kranvagn just makes it even a sweeter tank xD. Good job with the videos and congrats on 15k subs, u deserve everyone of them.

Yo, I think the rear gun placement on this td gives it a lot of its flavor. Like when you wiggle or angle for a bounce, that armor angles on the superstructure change more quickly than on a forward mount td. Also the ho-ri is pretty narrow, so the superstructure is easier to miss when it's wiggling. I realized this today when struggling to hit/pen a ho-ri with my 268. I didn't want to get this tank when it came out bc it seemed mediocre in terms of many of its numbers, but it ended up being my highest dmg tank.

For me, calibrated actually serves a purpose. You can pen the turret of the Kranvagn, even when it's angled a bit due to shell normalization. That's why I use calibrated shells, but rammer is really nice too.

I can understand that, but using calibrated for that one scenario doesn’t seem worth it to me. I played 200+ with calibrated btw so I’ve experimented with both a lot.

The only downside of this tank is the HE. compared to other derp guns that have 560 alpha for AP and 680 for HE this tank had only 600 dmg/per shot for HE, also your HE penetration is among the lowest for tier X TD's

Still, while the Ho-Ri's HE alpha isn't great, it makes up for it with prammo damage bc it's only 15 less than the normal shell dmg.

Thanks! I always say equipment is preference based. The Ho-Ri doesn’t have amazing shell velocity, and for a tank that is meant to take long distance shots, having that better velocity helps. Furthermore, the penetration drop is reduced which means it pens more reliably. These are my reason for using it as the tank already has a good aim time, and most importantly low dispersion.

Hi there. RGN doesn’t have requirements as we are closed recruitment and invite only. As for my favorite tank, I can’t say. It always changes, but the MK6, Leo 1, and Ho-Ri are currently making a comeback for me.

I’m a beast with TDs, especially in Grille (where I got Top 3 WN8 on 30d | EU Serv) and 268. But Ho-Ri ! I can’t, I don’t know why. Hmmmm I know EU server plays differently than NA. Maybe that would make a difference? EU = find the best angle to farm. Teams there are less passive and campy than NA.

People almost always need heat to reliably pen it anyways. Only tank I recommend it 100% is progetto because it create auto bounce angles.

Old auto aim 100%. Best tip is to just practice with it.

I play the Ho Ri with calibrates and the only reason is that I can pen a kravangan full hull down with premium AP xD

Is it a good idea to use supercharge on tanks like Obj 268,Wz 113 G FT,HoRi etc. Tanks with slow shell velocity.

@@hisroyalfatness thanks a lot for confirming! I see them quite the same, hence why it's not the easy decision. But how long can one tryhard before getting bored? ^^ especially after the grueling grind of the AT line. Sunk every xp multiplier I could into it so my wr doesn't dip too much. All 3 tier9 versions of the real tanks can hold the line from the list, so think I'm still leaning towards the 183. For shts and giggles. What tank do you drive for winding down?
