RULES NOT CORRECT- You forgot one of the big rules- you can't put your foot in the square that has your token in it when you go up the court, and must pick up your token when you come back down the court,before putting your foot in that box.

I am guessing that the video is making a mistake, since each player must start to throw at box 1. • then they jump now on 2, then do the drill then back to 2. • while on 2, they will try to pick up what they throw, after getting will jump outside. • if he/she done it right, it is still his/her turn. • but now he will throw on 2, then jump on 1, then jump on 3, and then the drill back. • will stop on 3 to get the item on 2. And so on.

I have played it many times in childhood with Girls, often girl play this Game in our territory and in local language we call it Sarpat

She said whoever can throw their coin farthest and go down the board wins and she’d immediately land on the 10, hop down and say game over, she won. And then I never saw the point of playing because it was so easy.

NOT CORRECT, and actually, not even agrees with the article. This was a game I played all the time as a kid, and was usually considered a girl's game, although boys could play if they wanted. First and foremost, after you throw the stone onto a square, you cannot jump onto that square on the way up. If you do, you automatically lose your turn. You hop on one foot EXCEPT on squares 4/5, 7/8, and 10, where you may use both feet. (You can use both feet on 10 because it is a "resting" square, although some play it using only one foot if they want to make it more difficult). On the way back, you must pick up the rock from the position of the square/squares before it, to complete the round and hand off the rock to the next player. IF you are on square 3, for example, you would pick up the rock from squares 4/5, in which case you may use both feet. BUT, if you throw the rock onto 4 or 5, 7 or 8, you may NOT use both feet on those squares in that turn, but instead hop on one foot on the square that doesn't contain the rock. You must ALWAYS skip the square with the rock in it, EXCEPT on the way back, when, AFTER picking up the rock, you must hop onto that square to complete the round. The exception is square 10, where you must pick up the rock first, then hop into that square, turn around and hop back to the beginning. Also, the rock must be thrown in each square in succession, one throw only allowed per turn. That's the way we always played it, and kept track of our place with chalk. First, one to complete all 10 squares won.
