There's no way K'sante is broken. He's only an unkillable super tank with good mobility and three displacements. At least he pays for all that strength by having low damage wait hold on

Depends how you view broken tbh. Some say he’s broken because of his op kit while others say he’s not broken even if that op kit because he can’t 1v5 carry.

i agree on iceborne always. but in ap matchups I usually go visage second into stoneplate. than thornmail and flex last item based on what I need (sunfire, chains, force of nature...)

lowering the skill ceiling drastically by removing a lot of his (harder) combos and making the easier spells do more damage/way easier to hit was the problem

The biggest issue i have with Ksante are his nonexisting mana costs - may aswell not give him a resource bar at this point

No. Especially early game. I would call it almost exactly like Fiora, Trundle, or Irelia. If you spam your q or are forced to use w or e, then you can run out of mana early levels. And after an all in, unless you ult, you're left with less than half. That's a large part of biscuits too. Levels 2-4 you're struggling with mana. Even at 6-7 you risk it.

@@GOSS_3 Yeah he uses a lot of mana early, but that is cause they upped the mana costs on his abilities after this comment was made. At the moment he can only use q 9 times before running out of mana before first back, but back then he could spam it without issue.

I would say Bami's Cinder isn't the ideal first back item component. By far the most successful thing you can get is a component from IceBorn Gauntlet depending on if you need armor/hp + cdr/ or straight up damage when you can get away with it. This is what I see all K'Sante players build and you can just run down your lane opponent after you finish IceBorn. Like it's legit nuts how you can be somewhat behind and just crush your opponent when you complete this item. Just the other day I was playing Darius into K'Sante. He was about 20-30 cs behind and I had one kill on him. He got a Kindlegem and just farmed and occasionally tried to fight with me(the fights were close for someone who was behind.) After he finished it I just couldn't do anything. The perma slow didn't let me get Qs on him and he completely shredded through me with his true damage.

i agree i did try bamis but it did make it easier to stay alive in lane, but felt pretty weak for a while. Was against Garen tho so was playing passive

Id like to add, you made some good points however not all you said are the things Ksante mains use/do. bami/sunfire is almost never worth it because you dont build that much health, you focus more on armour/mr because that increases your damage. Other tanks get 2-4x as much value out of sunfire so you can for it but only if they have like 3 people who will be permanently inside of you in team fights. Atreus, the nr1 ksante posted a guide a few days ago, recommend checking him out too if you want to pick up this champion

its not balanced for ksante to have this strong of an earlygame and also scale into a monster, he has to be nerfed.

@@owo4470 don't forget that he still maintains his Tank Effectiveness, meaning that Bami's and Gargoyle's Proc like he has his full Tank HP Bar. His Q also retains the ability to slow, for some reason, since his passive and CC Chain being buffed wasn't something worthy of mention before.

He doesn't have that great of an early game tbh. He only does well against other champs with weak earlies or immobile champs. If you ult blindly against a Darius, Renekton, Garen, Irelia, or most bruisers you are likely to get shat on.

They should tune him down some more but I still think he is the best designed tank in the game. Out of all of them he is the only one that feels the most fun to play and pilot. Does he have a lot? Yeah. Is he the most fun tank to play in the game? Absolutely.

Why play squishy damage dealing champions when you can play a full tank dealing more damage than any carry and being nigh on unkillable when ahead with pretty much no lane counters? K’Sante is again symptom of Riot overcomplicating their champ designs. Theoretically, K’Sante’s kit could be stripped down pretty seriously and he’d still be a useful, strong champ.

Remove this fucker's mobility and make him into a juggernaut. That's all they have to do - keep champions to their classes and not make tanks with tank cc and endurance but also having assassin mobility and damage.

@@phuocminhluu2919 to one of those, very much yes, graves is op as fuck and almost constantly in S+ in multiple roles, also Taric isn't gay. it also doesn't help that riot openly marketed him as the first lgbt champion of color.... when Rell exists. rito wanted to seem not homophobic or racist nor the community of the game they made, so they made the K'sante the best champ in the game to spike his playrate so they can be like "LOOK EVERYONE, OUR DIVERSE PLAYERBASE IS CHOOSING THE BLACK GAY CHAMPION BECAUSE THEY FEEL REPRESENTED" and act like it's not because they refuse to actually balance the game around people who aren't bronze for more than 4 champions
