Love me some ZZ Top! My wife and I saw them last year, and even with the new bassist, they still sound great live. Thank you for breaking this down, one of my favorites. I have a question if you don't mind. I just bought my first CBG, having only played a standard 6-string electric prior, and it seems the thin "G" string is much harder to play than the other two strings. Is this normal on a CBG?

No not really. Try a lighter string guage it may help. Or it could be the actions is to high or low .

@@crazypossumboxguitars Ok, thank you. I bought it from a local guy that builds them, it's the first one I've owned or played, and the videos (like yours) I've seen online make it seem the strings play similar to a regular electric guitar.
