Both Jimi and Stevie were left hand muting masters. Its intoxicating to watch their right hand power strokes knowing how much the left hand is doing. Thanks for the video, 300K Baby!

You've been mighty quiet for a little bit here but now I can see why!! Incredibly well-done video tutorial on this Hendrix classic!! Ton of work and effort went into this one. I'd go so far as to say this one tune is almost a Jimi master class! Jim C.

Great video. Such a complex and diverse rhythm section. I can't believe Hendrix wrote this before he was 27 years old. Imagine how much is music would have evolved and what he would be bringing us today?

Pilgrim you know what I have been thinking about lately? That the all the players I like, put vibrato on almost any note, even the chords, just like you. But that's hard because when you are playing fast you can tense up. So thanks for the content and inspiration!

Nice way to show how to play , especially for people who can play it but maybe not in the right positions . thats the key to mastering (enjoy playing ) his songs. Start in the wrong position and you need 8 fingers 🤪

It’s either standard, but if it’s Jimi it’s probably down one step. I would say if you are trying to learn this song you might want to be able to figure that out in about….2 seconds. I actually knew in less than that. Making videos like this isn’t all that easy. And thanks to people like this guy I’ve been able to learn guitar like I only dreamed of as a kid. Your comment kind of smacks to me as being very ungrateful or just a lot of laziness on your part. It’s fine to remind him to mention the tuning, but ya might want to add… thank for the lesson for us ungrateful lazy pricks….that might have been nice.
