Marci Guide
My hero guides are mainly for people learning how to play Dota or for those who want to learn how to play a new hero. I aim to teach people the general concept of how the hero should be played and what makes it unique. I'm a Divine player around 5k and don't claim to be the best at Dota, but I do have enough knowledge and experience to help you learn the basics.

when i press the W key, the victor target disappears quickly, how can I utilize the victor target efficiently?

doesn't give me the "aim" after targeting in rebound. anyone know why ?

when you cast rebound on ally, you need to hold left click and aim the target you want

I love that you think anyone other than the Marci player wants to do anything other than farm jungle. My advice, farm battle fury, farm up into a carry build.

Good guide. I've watched a few now for Marci as I'm trying to main her, but man, she feels underpowered, especially compared to easier supports like witch doctor and shadow shaman. I get the impression she's just not that helpful for low mmr to expect team mates to follow up well with her initiations. Early game she's good with her Q and W, but unless I can get 2-3 kills early, it's really difficult to keep up with levels and farm in mid to late game. Mainly because she can't farm and is useless in teamfights without her ULT. I know Marci is for initiating, but she is pretty squishy as well. So when you dive in, one stun followed by 3-4 shots, and you're taken out of the team fight. And without ULT, your attacks are soooo slow, that people can ignore you. I feel like her Q and W need a bit more stun duration or something. Without a buff, I'd rather pick shadow shaman, witch doctor or pudge. Heck, even Lion has more reliable stuns and a way to instantly take someone out of a teamfight.

Yup i like maelstorm to help me farm a little bit, still trying to figure her out. Shes very agile i like to pair her with blink and phase and just go in and out, pop all abilities then escape but like u said sometimes its hard in low mmr cuz ur team mates suck d*** and dont help kill

The best marci lane is marci +viper in hard lane. 90% of cores would run in fear when you speed up viper and marci has 2 stuns :D

Dota 2 was my first introduction MOBA's but I moved to League because of friends. Tried playing it again after so many years but I forgot how incredibly long it takes to join a game, took me 15-20 min to join games, that's just way to long to wait for a que when I can hop on League and get in a match in 1-2 min.

maybe because you had a long game or bad behavior score. takes me around 1min to que as immortal (Yes feels really off seeing a ancient/divine player making guides).

because the fanbase is probably dwindling. Still alot, but dwindling. The only ones who really play are the pros and the Dota fanatics. League has always been more welcoming and easy to pick up for new players.

@@marachannel12 because Dota IS legitimately harder. I switch from Dota 2 to League and never looked back. To be a great Dota 2 player, there's so many more things to take into account, and alot of micromanagement. Sure, you can use the argument of "Git gud", but not everyone is going to want to waste hours upon hours (I had a combined total of 3k hrs of Dota + Dota 2) to even GRASP the concepts of Dota 2's micromanagement. League is easy to pick up, and if you one-trick, easy to master a single champion that can help you carry games yourself. And yea, Valve marketing sucks. Riot's going ham on their marketing since day 1.
