I'm surprised you didn't explain how you bot-block in the video (tho it's understandable bc this kinda thing is a little difficult to explain) but here's my personal guide to BOT BLOCKING in case anyone wants tips! when being chased, option 1 is face forward and wait for the hunter to be directly behind you so you can see their red light. (I dont recommend trying to bot block attacks from awkward angles if you're still learning 😭) When the hunter's right behind you (and you're safe from running into a wall), turn your camera around to look back so you can see when they start to swing. If you have trouble timing with the swing animation, i recommend listening closely for the noise the hunter makes when they swing their weapon. all hunters have a subtle sound effect just before they swing (i.e. BQ and Geisha have a slight gasp; Gamekeeper, Hell Ember, Smiley and Wu Chang grunt loudly) ITS VERY SHORT - Usually between 0.5 second and 1.5 seconds. Once you hear/see them start the swing animation, tap the bot TWICE quickly!! If you're fast enough, you can spawn the bot to bodyblock and switch back to Tracy without having to wait for the death animation of the bot, which means you can get a second or two more to get away while the hunter's attack recovers. Option 2: I, personally, don't look behind me to see attack animation unless I'm doing it at a weird angle like on a pallet or something. I usually just listen more closely for when the hunter starts to swing. If you're like me, staring behind you at the hunter might make you anticipate the hit and put the Bot down too early, and the hunter just walks around it to down you. MOST IMPORTANT STEP: If you're not looking behind you and just listening for the hunter's attack noise, TRUST THE BOT. Trust in the spirit of the bot. The spirit of george. 99% of the time, the bot will spawn between you and the hunter in the right position because for some reason George has a slightly bigger hitbox than survivors. And also he always spawns directly behind tracy, NOT the direction you're facing the camera If you're prone to panicking at the last second, I like to use the balance beam in gymnastics as an analogy: You're 3 feet in the air on a thin shaking wooden beam about 4-6 inches wide (the width of your foot, if you're lucky) If you go to do a move and lift one leg off the beam into the air, you can't go hesitate! You have to COMMIT TO THE MOVE or else you'll fall off and break a leg!!!! Don't panic and switch to the bot more than twice, you'll probably end up wasting the hunter's attack recovery time and get hit faster. keep it cool. u got this. if you play on PC, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using a gaming mouse with side buttons for your thumb, and changing the keybind of Tracy's bot to one of the side buttons on your mouse. You can get reaction times WAYYYYYYY faster that way, and it's easier on your hands bc you don't have to stretch your fingers halfway across the keyboard to use her item 😭 If you've read this far, gj hope this helps if you didn't read this far, L+Ratio+Terrorshocked on 5 ciphers!!!! u missed out!!!

Popping the last cipher as Mech with (2+) injured teammates is an unreal experience if you ask me 😭It feels like an eternity

Mechanic was my main the last season but idk why now I feel insecure while playing her 😂 Ik she has a lot of debuff but I really love playing Tracy so this guide helps me a lot ❤

As a mech main, i prefer to hide first the bot. It's more beneficial for the team. Using George as perfume looks cool but isn't really recommendable 😂 If my cipher is at 30% and I left George there, that's a guaranteed cipher already. Which increases the chance to win

Extra tips I'd like to add: ▪︎Sometimes survivors want to get healed by your bot, definitely let the bot heal them by itself when possible because you can leave it and do your own thing like go in for a rescue or decode while it heals without losing charge. I don't know if they changed this though, as I haven't played for a while. But it is/was extremely useful Though I recommend not running after your teammates if they don't come to you themselves. ▪︎If you have your robot out somewhere safe and it is unable to decode, have quite a bit of charge left but not enough to run to an exit gate and you desperately need a heal then you can run toward it to get it to heal you when teammates are unable to

The first thing i do is Hide cause being first target is a death sentence to mechanic 😅

Good video! I think it's a fairly nice guide in my opinion! Though something I recommend is not taking the ear trait (the one where failing calibrations doesn't ping nor affect you). I'm a bit of a rank maniac so I try to know the best builds and all X3 Also, amazing kites! I love how it seems like your character hopped into a hoverboard at the end XD

I think tide is better for mech but you also need deploy the bot and hide it well at the start.. unless you confident with your kiting bringing knee jerk wouldn't really benefit you if you already bad at kiting, I mean if you hide the bot well just go far away from bot → get on chair → peacefully decoding

dont think u should use the bot to bodyblock especially at 5 ciphers it decreases decoding speed for everyone so maybe at 1 cipher or detention yes

Wtf was that embalmer coffin in the first match? If you can’t give them coffins in a hood area then just save the coffin and let someone rescue. Or at least body block so mech can go to a better kiting area.

I started playing Tracy a few days ago, and this guide helped me a lot! But I have a question. What do I do against a Joseph or an Alva? When should I put my robot on to avoid wasting battery? Should I decode along with it? Do Alva's energy charges affect my robot to the point of knocking it over? These two Hunters leave me with a certain insecurity when I'm with Tracy. If anyone can help me with tips on these Hunters, I'll be very happy 🦋

Ik this is stupid but can i not utilize my bot cause i hate the whole looking back to mech and her bot everytime they're both decoding I'd like to keep the bot near the gate so it can decode while i go to the gate or kite my way to the gate

do not body block with ur bot 😭 the only reason mech is needed is because of her bot, her bot is more useful than her! body block with her at very late end game if needed (i dont play mech but this is what ive heard from mech players, hide george at the start of the game !)
