Hi Party. I started playing at 49. I love music but never understood how to work a musical instrument. I'm 56 now and I et it!!! I'm loving it! I surfed lessons , practiced then I progressed to you. I think that it sounds more like the recording if you change the playback speed to 75% instead of normal speed!?!?!? Just the guitar and the strumming, not the singing. But great job and tutorial either way!!!

I take it back....When you plant you fingers it initially looks like your planting the index finger on the B string first fret but then you raise the finger. So your playing A.

GNR version recorded 1/2 step down so if you are playing it with the recording you'll need to tune down.

Thanx to both of you guys for watching. I am trying to keep it simple for all Levels for sure and I am well aware of the way the bands play all the tunes I demonstrate. I don’t mind anyone giving tips on how a song is played but this channel is for people To learn easy versions of these tunes for all Levels to enjoy. I should also note that I use a lot of these versions in my live shows and no one ever complains what step I play it in, I guess in the end, as long as your having fun that’s all that matters. If you hit the settings button on the video you can change the playback speed from 25% of full speed all the way up to 2 times the normal playback speed. Hope this helps.
