Less, I believe. Anakin is a bit over 280, whilst this one is 209 (according to Tulok himself, I sure as hell am not doing the math, LOL) Paladins and Fighters are both kings of nova damage... Mix them up together, and the result is just... Incomparable, I suppose, LOL (of course, they don't really *have* all that much left after the nova, having spent a lot of their very limited Paladin slots, and their one and only action surge... Radagon here doesn't nova as hard, but he's more consistent, I think. His resources lasts longer)

Being a caster with 8th Level Spell Slots means that Radagon does also have the advantage of being able to blast larger areas. I don't remember it super clearly but IIRC nothing in Anakin's arsenal has Sunburst-sized AoEs.

Honestly, it makes sense within the narrative themes of Elden Ring: (MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD) Yes, Radagon is Marika, but there's a theme of dualities (especially in regards to gods) going on in Elden Ring: For example, in the case of the Dragon Lord Placidusax, who ruled the world in the age before Marika came to power and used to be very Tiamat-like before Godfrey tore off all but two of their heads, there's the fact that the remaining two heads are in internal game files referred to as male and female respectively, effectively mirroring the situation with Radagon and Marika. Speaking of Godfrey, and as covered in one of Tulok's recent videos: Godfrey, the First Elden Lord, is also known as Hoarah Loux, Warrior and Chieftain of the Badlands -- a fellow lowly Tarnished just like the player character. Renna the Snow Witch, who seeks us out early on in the game, is a bit later revealed to be Lunar Princess Ranni, the Empyrean daughter of Radagon and Queen Rennala of the Full Moon. It is said in her backstory lore that she was tutored by a woman known as "Renna" prior to Ranni's kind-of suicide in the distant past and that Ranni took on the identity afterwards, going so far as to model her current puppet body after her former tutor. Margit the Fell Omen, the first (optional) major boss of the game, is the phantasmal doppelganger and alter-ego of King Morgott, the son of Godfrey and Queen Marika, who sends his "shadow" out in the world to kill the Tarnished. The Lord of Blood is a similar example as we later find out that he's Morgott's brother, Mohg, who's trying to establish a dynasty of blood while going by the name "Mohgwyn." (A name-choice that puts him in contrast with his other brother, Godwyn, an almost messianic figure in the lore... but unlike the good, fair and golden-haired Godwyn, Mohg is a horned, black-winged amoral monster with a mouth full of fangs who fights with a trident and by casting burning blood, so he's only a wee little bit Satanic...) Rya is a sweet girl, best girl, who's working as a scout for the Volcano Manor. It is eventually revealed that Rya is the alter-ego of the monstrous serpent woman Zoryas, the daughter of the demi-god Rykard, the Lord of the Manor, and Eiglay, a god-devouring demonic serpent... Even as a snek she is still best girl tho: She knows that not a great many would treat the fact that she is snek kindly, so the Rya guise is kind of a necessity... Best girl is best snek... Cut content (which may be re-added if a DLC is released in the future) makes it clear that Miquella, Malenia's sibling who's cursed with eternal youth, is also the enigmatic St. Trina, a girl associated with sleep-inducing magic. Miquella and Trina being one and the same individual also makes them remarkably similar to their parents, Radagon and Marika. Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman, is a werewolf-like creature seeking atonement for his past sins by eating Deathroot, but we learn that before he became a clergyman he used to go by a different name that struck fear into the hearts of all: He was Maliketh, the Black Blade, Queen Marika's half-brother and guardian of Destined Death. Melina, our travelling companion throughout the game, is also implied to be both the original "Renna" who tutored Ranni as well as possibly the nebulous Gloam-Eyed Queen, the original owner of Destined Death before it fell into Maliketh's hands and the founder of the Godskin Cultists. She is implied to be Radagon and Marika's third child alongside Malenia and Miquella. So, no, not quite "throwing the kitchen sink at the story" but rather a central theme which makes the lore a bit absurd if you try to put it in simplified, straight-forward terms... Honestly, Point Buy is just not a good way to go if you're doing a final boss character. I understand why Tulok does it as a baseline for this How To Build Character series, but for Radagon it just plain doesn't work... Hell, putting the dumped Con aside, 10 Int on a character whose "religion" is literally based on a mathematical scientific discipline and who studied sorcery under Rennala, the archmage of the setting, is kiiinda wonky in itself.

Constitution makes the most sense as a dump stat for current Radagon, moreso than anything else. He's not dumb, not clumsy, and has the mind and body of a god- if he has any weaknesses at all, it's that he's also been shattered by the smashing of the Elden Ring, resulting in a decaying physical vessel wraught with fractures and weak points. Hell, even in game he's got a kind of *low* HP pool, looking at him as his own entity as opposed to just the first half of a multi-phase boss. Not to mention, realistically he's immune to the great majority of things that'd be Con saves anyways. Really, besides that, this reflects a Player Character-level iteration of this character. If you want a final boss, slap a +4 on all of those stats and give him another 10 hit dice or so.

He's operating under a set of rules here: there's no fun in "figuring out" a build for a character if you're allowed to just set the stats to whatever or give them whatever powers you wish, no? It's akin to playing a game with cheats, or, even worse, fighting a Fromsoft boss with a summon: Defeats the purpose, yo

@@auroragamer1 In what other way would you build him? Simple: Roll a set of die or three and hope for the best. Unfortunately, die rolling is not a method that lends itself particularly well to what Tulok does here on this channel. Also, I unabashedly always fight FromSoft bosses with AI summons/spirit ashes whenever possible. (I could justify it by bragging about how I defeated Defiled Amygdala on my first try w/o any assistance so clearly I have gitten gud enough, but I don't even feel it's necessary to justify oneself: If one wants to use summons, then that's fine.) Doing anything else would defeat the purpose of the summons/spirit ashes. And implying that fighting bosses with summons is worse than cheating sounds to me like the toxic kinda gatekeeping FromSoft fans have become notorious for lately: You're being that "you cheated not only the game, but yourself" guy -- only, you're not even funny or meme worthy. You're just ruining the fun for everyone else with that kinda attitude. Stop it.

I do believe it's best to fight things alone, but I didn't intend for it to be taken to such a serious level. Comparing it to cheating was a case of irony.
