Save your diamonds for the wheel. I think it's reasonable to get the mythic champ in this event free and then the companion in a week or so.

Definitely not a an event for f2p. Ive grinded it till last night and spent my currency on bouquets, rings and gear tokens. Ive wasted a big part of my crystals to level my city but passed lvl 10, it doesnt change...its a good event for ressources but not worth investing for the companion imo. And thank you Lion for the videos!

I did a rough estimate of gems to get the companion.... about 62k gems...you need 810k things (whatever they are) to get just the companion

In summary, paid event to celebrate the second anniversary. There are already two of them, while the cooking class was so easy that they only put in a new classmate the first time, then they were repeated.
