Find a tank/healer that wants to get boosted and tag along. Then add him/her to your friends list and keep in touch often. Support classes are your best friends

Use the Addon 'premade-filter' and you will finally understand that's not your Class it's the fact there are alot of melee and 99% of the grps already got one. premade-filter shows who's in the grp and you won't waste your time on grps who already got 1 or 2 melee-dps.

Matt Kemp They will definitely. I have both the legendary cloak and ring for retribution and they basically increased my dps by 50/60k. Still have to test the cloak in raids tho

It's not a specific crit number that determines it as haste, for example, benefits BoW more. So the only way is to sim it and it sounds like you're doing that. If it comes out as roughly the same, go with whichever you prefer for pure single target and take BoW for cleave fights where it will pull ahead.

It's hard to say just based on a few measures because so many things affect your dps. The burst seems more than fine but you might be able to sneak your sustained up a bit higher even with your Ashbringer being behind.

Im also going for 5 holy power most of the time, is that ok to do? Or do I loose dps cause of that? Shall I just go for 3 Holy power and then use it or? From my point of view, Im not wasting any Holy Power, so I kinda have no idea what Im doing wrong... (Im using TV/DS when I have my judgement buff on aswell)

Spend when you can during crusade, but you can build beyond 3 outside of it if you have builders available and won't overcap. I explained the rationale behind this somewhere but will make sure it's in the updated Essentials guide for patch 7.1.5 as well.

All of the secondary stats are good, but their priority changes around a lot. After you've gained some decent gear, you may well find that versatility actually becomes the highest simming stat because it's not easy to get much of it.

icy-veins says that versatility and crit should be on the same percentage, so if i have 15% vers i should also have 15% crit? it bugs me a lot since you can find crit gear almost everywhere, but it comes with mastery 80% of the time...

It's alright if you never have to switch target so of limited use and not ideal for dungeons.

Actually I got 4 trinkets that I'm having a hard time to choose for single target raiding and Myth+ runs. My stats are: *27% crit *20% haste *28% mastery *2% versatility Trinkets: 1. 865 Eye of Command (Kara last boss trink) 2. 865 Memento of Angerboda 3. 870 Horn of Valor 4. 855 Chrono Shard I am currently using Memento with Eye of Command on single target. Haven't done much simming yet (not quite into but I think I have to) can you do a quick review of which pair should be better to use in single target and aoe.

You have to take into account that it isn't always a DPS increase and you don't kill all tentacles so might be completely wasted DPS. I cleave onto tentacles when it's going to be useful.

how is it not a dps increase cleaving 3 tentacles vs single target hitting one? you do kill all the starting tentacles usually as each tentacle is worth 3 % i think so 6 tentacles? some times there's not 3 but 2 that are close enough and of course if you focus too much on positioning you might lose dps, but assuming that a good player is doing it isn't it better to cleave them together rather than focusing one? dunno about +10 or more tough... Now tough i've rewatched carefully the video and i think you guys each picked one tentacle and single targetted it down? Your cleaves are pretty good so why did u do that? Sorry for asking some really niche stuff, it's fine if you don't remember, thanks for the video!

It depends on the state of your Ashbringer. Look at your values: if DS does more than half your TV damage then use it on 2+ targets, otherwise wait for three.

I think you're way too high on Mastery. I am 863 also, with the shit legendary helm and my stats are 27% crit, 22% haste and 31% mastery.

As a relatively new Ret paladin, I made the mistake of using potions of prolonged power instead of potions of the old war. Once I made the switch my dps went up around 7%, which is nothing to laugh at.
