Cuban music and salsa is my favourite music of all! I also love playing guitar so I figured I’ll put those two together in this video!

At age 65 i've been working on Salsa bass. Just because I can play to youtube doesn't mean that I can walk in and play Vomonos Pal Monte with a full Latin percussion and no pro bass to copy. I also finger pick guitar and love this. When work slows down this winter I hope to study w/ you via internet. Bravo for your funky left and right hands!

Hola! Disculpa la demora.. en una Admira Española (cuerpo delgado).. te recomiendo cuerdas como la bella 900 que tienen los bajos polichados entonces no hacen tanto ruido 🙌 mi guitarra está en Australia pero la tengo para la venta por si sabes de alguien 🙂

Hey there, thanks for the feedback. I’m working on how to write tabs.. I have probably seen them once in my life! So I am not very familiar with them or how to write those.. With the camera focus, yes I saw that! I left it in because I did a slower sample straight after that worked better. Apologies but I was filming by myself. Hope it’s useful regardless ✌️

Para bajar loops basicas porfa visita salsacustica.my-online.store/ y alli podras ver unas opciones. Si usas ese sitio web yo recibiré un email y lo responderé con los loops los cuales podras usar en tu computador tambien. Cuando usas el computador o la loop que te comentaba, tienes mas control en el tiempo y las dinamicas que uses. Gracias, Steban

Hey Joey Jeffcott thanks for the comment. I’d love to help. These riffs can be used for many salsa tunes acoustic covers and it’s a way to transform (for example) a jazz standard into a latin rhythm. I did an example on my channel of ‘what a wonderful world’. Let’s grab a virtual coffee I’d say and chat about where you are and what questions you may have.. would that suit?
