Someone needs to apply this technology to games like Gaslands. Modular vehicles and weapons that do not require buying and modifying hot wheels cars with 3d printed guns.

Would you consider doing a "What to Buy" style video for this games expansions similar to what you've done for X-Wing in the past? I found those super helpful for getting into the game.

Been looking for a solid a maneuver based game for a while. Haven't touched X-Wing since the AMG took it. Considering the capriciousness of big licenses (e.g. Battlestar getting yanked from Ares Games), I think something like this could be a welcome change.

A common mistake I've seen is players thinking hull size is ship cost. Thanks for getting that one correct. :)

I saw this at PAX earlier this month. Your how to play is way better than the one who demonstrated it at the show. This is bad, now I want it. 😅

For one, I really like the gameplay for Snapship Tactics - the downside to the game, however, is feels very much like an add-on to the toys. Mechanics wise the game is great, but I think the fiddly nature of the toys is going to put a lot of people off. Another disappointment, is ship customizing is very limited - I would love if I could have weapons facing rear, or sideways, but the weapons are locked into a set arc. For anyone getting into the game, I highly recommend embracing the idea of Vertical aligned ships (if you want to build your own). It's not a bad game, but I don't think it will last long, as I've noticed that many of the toys are now available in dollar stores in Canada. The Missile mechanic is really fun I find, and could see that working in many other games.

sadly i missed the Ks back then and its pretty expensive to get in germany Spieleschmiede is currently doing a crowdfund for the german version and i really hope they can pull through. This looks like so much fun, the build aspect alone.

There will never be a game like this as simple, innovative and elegant as X-Wing when it first launched. I hold Armada higher for simply being a more strategical and interesting game, but the sheer simplistic brilliance of Wave 1 X-Wing is a time ill always remember. Ive followed Snapships on and off for a few years and appreciate what they are trying to do...But it just feels so bland and overly complex. And those lego ships are way WAY too big.

The video is good but I reallllllllllllly wish reallly really wish SOMEONE would do A Actual how to play play through…. And how to play during that play through…. I haven’t seen one yet and honestly the show to play videos aren’t very clear leaving me confused
