I found it incredibly difficult to understand these rules as explained by this gentleman. It was very confusing and it seemed like he was jumping from one concept to another with very little focus or flow. In this case, it was easier to learn the rules from the rulebook.

Frank Black - there seems to be a prevalence for how to play videos to explain ‘actions’ without context. Yes I can do action A or B, but why? Often rule books are just as guilty of doing this.

Its this dudes style. I rarely watch his vids. Jumps all over the place too much BUT this was a fairly good overview of the campaign mode that, frankly, looks more confusing than the base game (resetting the deck, setting up the deck, follow special instructions on each campaign card, etc etc). I was almost conviced to get this but dealing with the campaign setup/teardown, transition between games, looks like a pain. And I didnt quite follow the “choose one aspect” part. In general it doesnt look like you are solving anything in this, other than getting a set of matching colored cards into the lineup, which creates the story that you apparantly “solved”. Ok in theme I get it but this is just set collection, with some memory , resource and hand mgt gameplay. Creating a mystery/story by solving the sets… not really solving a mystery.
