I've figured out this solo for a while ago and you're the only guy who plays the solo at the right spots on the freatbord. I mean, other guys play the same notes but you're playing them like Slash does. You ROCK Justin! No wonder that I have been following you since I was a beginner...

He actually doesnt really play it like Slash...and his bends are off - flat in a few spots...if you cant hear that - you're still a beginner - which is fine - keep working on it!

I was just trying to compliment Justin, who cares about few bends here and there, you ain’t gonna learn the song properly anyway if you don’t listen and play along to original. I mean I never said Justin didn’t make a mistake here and there, I was talking about string and position choice, it’s not a musical skill, it’s just watching videos and researching haha But I guess he has need to prove that he’s better musician than everyone eaven if no one asked 😂😂😂

Justin there are only two people who explain such difficult techniques so simply. My teacher and you but learning from anyone else becomes so impossible for me. My 13 year old lad has been playing this solo for weeks and has it nailed apart from the transition at 9.15..every video up till now has taught hammer ons instead of slides which has made it very difficult for him, now finally he can complete it with this really excellent explanation....top top job.

Justin, you're the best out there man! :) There's no one out there, no one who gives every lesson for free. Every other channel, every other website I've checked, there are many memberships, dvd's, lessons to buy, etc etc. You don't just do it for money. You do it to help people. Keep doing it. And your website is a great place to learn for people who really wants to learn. :) Your website will always be my best guitar dictionary and library. I understand this a older video but I was just able to play the into for the first time the other night with my eyes closed. Which to me is a huge step forward in my guitar journey. Nicely done and you play it very well. I have a hard time remembering how it goes, but I'm getting the "feel" of the solo by learning some of the main riffs. I'll learn the main familiar ones and try to tie them together as I learn more. Thanks for posting! Awesome solo for sure.

Hi Justin, the intro with the solo is super sweet but I have to admit I absolutely cracked up at your typical "hey how ya doin" right after the solo, it's as though you say that each time just to amuse yourself. Thank you for doing this video! It sounds very accurate to the original and it’s not an easy Solo I doubt I could’ve learned it without your video. There’s something I’d like to point out though. The “monster lick” that you start on around 9:40 on the video, well I don’t know how slash plays it, but for us mere mortals, it is much easier to play if you play it higher up the neck. Personally I don’t really care if I’m playing the exact frets that slash played or not, as long as it sounds the same, which it does. If you learn it the way Justin teaches it, it’s easy to convert it to be played higher on the neck, starting on the g string instead of the b. Not bashing the video, as it’s extremely well done, just hope this information can maybe help someone out there!
