The 4 3 3 against 4 4 2 formation in the build up fase can move to 3 1 4 2. The right back goes to the touch line,left back become third central back,left winger move to the touch line,right winger plays between lines like second striker. And there is 3 midfielders. There is 3 against 2 in first line and 3 against 2 in the midfield. Two strikes pin back defensive line and open up space on the sides. Very efective against 4 4 w. Similary Settien in Barcelona in his first game in charge. 4 3 3-3 1 4 2 in build up.

I think most people call every formation a 4-3-3 but most teams adapt it. 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-3-1-1 is how I would describe Bayern's lineup with Muller. He is a secondary striker and not an attacking midfielder.

I think the press scenario isn’t quite right. Generally the striker will not press the goalkeeper but either the lcb or rcb then, the wingers will need to stand half (between cb and wingback) so once the ball goes to one wingback the winger can press him. At the same time your wingback should also stand half between the back and winger, to press in case the ball goes via the cb.

Are there player who don't have pressing duties on the field. And is there anything freely roaming player, who will be changing position from time to time

Very inacurate analysis imo cuz 4-4-2 is not a formation to defend this formation. Even if they play outdated 4-4-2 and using zone defence and not press much teams would shape different defense formation transition. Tho 5:00 - 6:00 is very accurate if zonal defense takes place with 4 defence stable
