Raphi you are AMAZING i have only been playing for 3 months but thanks to you i can now play i will be blessed, under the same sun, and this perfectly and it pays off. i played in my college and people were shocked when they found out how long ive been playing for. because of you ive already outgrown my music class and they said they cant teach me anything else but to just keep on doing what im doing. you and mr gareth evens are my go to guys for tutorials. with ben being my fave artist i wanted to learn as many as i could and you provide the best most detailed vids in existence so thanks dude big time your awesome and keep up the good work:)

Hey man, this is a comment every one loves to read! I'm so happy that my tutorials are helpful. I have to admit I didn't think it was possible to play these songs with only 3 months of playing the guitar. That you can play them is not Mr. Gareth Evans' or my credit. It's your hard practice! Keep it up and keep on learning new songs and you'll get better and better! Maybe we will find a video of you playing one of theses songs here on youtube soon? That would be great! By the way Ben is gonna release a new album soon so stay tuned for new tutorials :)

This is top notch ! The only thing that probably everyone would ask you kindly is to also right it down. This goes for about every tutorial out there that is simple enough to tab because it's far easier to follow after you tought us how to play. Anyway big cheers for the effort and time spent. I wish there were more people like you !

Learnt the first part of this quite a while ago now, and only just cam back to learn the rest. Great tutorial as always! easy to follow and I got through it with no problems (only being a 1 year advanced player) I can now easily play all of the Ben Howard songs you have on your channel :)

absolutely love your tutorials! so helpful for figuring out the specifics. just wondering what version you are teaching here? I've been trying to learn it by ear off of the Xfm KZfaq video (which is my favorite version) but I've seen many different ways that he plays this. i.e. studio/album version, coachella plugged in, acoustic solo on xfm, other liver versions unplugged. just curious. thanks again!
@Raven27027 жыл бұрын
Thanks buddy, thats the XFM-version on acoustic. Have fun learning :)

Hey Raphi! Thanks a lot for the tutorial man. I have locked myself up in my room for the last twee weeks and I can almost completely play it thanks to you. Only thing I'm stuck on however is the part at 39 minutes (Chorus 2). The pattern is a little different from before and I've tried about 10 different versions but since my musical ear isn't that good I can't seem to figure it out. You only pluck d,g, b string together once here (and a quick strum) after hitting the low e and then you play some ritme that is a bit different than what we are playing in chorus 1 on 10th fret while you swap between pink fret 12 high e, index fret 9 high e and pink fret 12 g string. Any chance you could help me out with that exact pattern of the right hand cause I'm not sure what the exact pattern is. Sorry if I'm asking something that is explained in the tutorial but been over the entire part a couple of times but it's still not completely clear to me. I really hear it being played differently from how I play it. Thanks for everything! Really appreciate it!

At the bridge, Ben plays the 9th fret 4th string instead of the 12th fret 5th string, but it is actually the same G-note

hmm, was soll ich da sagen?
