Hi mailynn. I am going good with your tutorials . I just want some tips regarding use of metronome as i just began using metronome.

Hi Adityaraj! Thank you for your comment! I would recommend doing all your rhythm practice using the metronome first before trying to play along with the flute. Make sure you know first what the metronome is beating. There are metronome apps that will actually count out the beats, which can be useful for beginners, or you can also use different tones (high and low) to help you pick out which beats are which. Slowly integrate it into practicing, as it can be a point of frustration or annoyance after a while. :) Please let me know if this helps! Happy fluting!

Hi Janet! I'm very glad that you are listening to your sound and how it compares to other players. It's a completely understandable feeling, but don't despair! Getting a sound that you like in your higher register will take time and consistent practice. 😊 You can try different exercises like harmonics and long tones to practice playing those high notes. Please let me know if you have any specific questions, and I'll do my best to help you out! 🎶
