I finally started WH2, and had just added 4 dragons to Tyrion's army when this battle happened. So that put a smile on my face.

I was waiting to see him get shot outta the sky with those bolt throwers from earlier, but no, they had something better planned.

Most dragon breaths (Including Seraphon and and Bracchus and the Sisters's antler dragon) are coded the same as Sun Dragon breath. Basically a chunky flammenwerfer. Moon dragons? More dense, like a rocket exhaust, still mostly the same damage type, just 'moar' over a smaller area. _Star_ dragons? *Plasma jet.* Totally armor-piercing, tiny area. This will cook some dinosaurs.

Funny, it absolutely killed him, too.

they can't destroy walls and towers like the bolt throwers. BUT Sisters of Avelorn PLUS bolt throwers with a few dragons and lothern sea guard and you will never lose.

I once tried to fight the elves with my lizardmen army and got shot to pieces before my units could even reach them. Oh and when I got to them they just ran back and shot at me again because lizards are fucking slow.. Balancing 100

@@clairelili873 Jokes on you, I usually lead a long range expedition doom stack, looting and destroying all city on the way, for the sole purpose of killing her, whilst maintaining an auxiliary army back in Lothern trying to united more Elves. Usually I land near Border Prince, go east, destroying human and dwarves, kill her, go west, destory half of the Empire, burn Altdorf, burn it twice if I decided to do a round trip around Empire., then kill King of Bretonnia if he show up near northern coast. BTW Elven invasion destroyed more city than Chaos invasion, orc usually take over the old world after I loot it clean.

Did they get nerfed? I rarely get over 100 kills with them, and it takes ~70% of one bolt thrower's ammo just to destroy one tower. Going from playing Empire and Dwarfs to high elves was quite the transition.

All I understand is he's stacking the Weapon Strength stat as hard as he can which determines damage dealt on hit, allowing him to instakill anything. And since it's on a hero character I'm going to assume he has a good amount of Melee Attack to boot which decides how often he's going to hit so every time he swings something *dies*

Honestly, I played it, and once you get the hang of it, it isn't impossible. With some cheeky thinking, you can actually quell rebellions quite easily, and while yes, it is at the cost of your towns, once you deal with the beginning wave of rebellions, it ain't too terrible. Once you get the buildings for Comitatenses, you pretty much win skirmishes and fights, unless you are really outnumbered.

@RexXflash yup. But if you destroy military infrastructure, it's gonna be a bunch of peasants. Costs you quite a bit of money, but definitely less than if you lost the town altogether.

@@danielkrejcar9104 No campaign is impossible, though I've yet to play it. I got Atilla, but never tried it. I'm a challenge-seeker, and have currently played and am playing through several campaigns on Legendary, so far "only" in Shogun 2 and Warhammer 2. Now I must try this Barbarian Invasion.

@@danielkrejcar9104 It's not that it's impossible, its much harder than twa wre if you don't know how to deal with it though (due to how much legendary attila ai cheats that campaign is harder if you do know what you are doing). It's more that many people (myself included) have nostalgia for the game and would love to see it crush yrridians unprepared form.
