This is amazing. I recommended this to a friend because I play Ragtime on the piano, and he loves it. He now goes to the kitchen when I sit down on the piano and accompanies me with the spoons.

Good video man..I use a slightly different technique for holding the spoons..I use them for Irish. Trad music..mostly to accompany the rythms of the reel,jig, & hornpipe. The hardest problem is keeping the spoons together and I found that by practicing firstly on teaspoons was a great help before progressing to soup spoons (which I feel are the best sounding spoons to use). Also one can use electrical tape around large spoons and it helps to hold them in place while you play..

Intresting, Abby the spoon lady says that the bottom spoon is the anvil and the top spoon is the hammer. Thank you for your insight.
