Really appreciate this video, as I am (I can say with a fair amount of certainty) the worst sweeper at my club. At any level. Seniors, juniors, men, women...I think some of our U9s are better at the shot than me. Cheers fellas.

Good Day Sir, I would be really pleased if you could tell me about the opening of the bat-face while cover driving the ball to pick the cover-point gap. I see many international players intentionally doing this also I find it a lot complicated to apply in training. Could you list out some drills or tips to get better at it? Thank You.

Hello sir, I have been watching your videos for some time and I’ve found Them quite helpful, but I’ve found some difficulties like I do not understand how to face an aggressive batsman I would also love to know how to add more turn in spin bowling and lastly I would love some tips to judge line and length and play pace bowling easily and I often try to hit the ball and it slides from my off side

The shot is easiest when on leg stump because it doesn’t matter which way it spins, useful when still at beginner level of picking spin

I feel discomfort. Because the knee of forward leg hinders to play this shot. That's why I don’t apply enough force to the bat and this shot becomes weak. And so I don’t feel comfort and i avoid it.

You are not alone, its a pretty awkward shot. Find what works for you and keep at it!

Although I am not very good at playing sweep shots, one thing to look at would be always make sure the head is positioned closer to your front knee and forwards. If ur head is backwards, u wont get a full swing.

I know how to play it.But I struggles to implement it in match because I can't judge it properly. It became difficult because it is not a bread and butter for me. So can you give me tips on when to play sweep and in which situation and to which bowler I can astonish the bowler with a sudden new shot?

Hi coach actually I have a problem in handling over pitch delivered while batting.... I can't able to hit big shots in over pitch deliveries..... I know over pitch delivery is everyone's cup of tea, but i make big shots and generate power in legnth deliveries. It's good and always I can't make big hit in over pitch deliveries why...!? What I'm missing?
