I have been to Sweeden but in a ski resort, but I have been to Norway and Denmark (only Copenhagen). I was amazed at how well behaved, very nice and laid back nordic ppl are. Truly amazing. Loved it and this just showcases that imo. Love it. Going to Sweden now is very high on my to do list😀

Hey Copa90, you should revisit sweden as since 2019 Swedish police have changed their strategy and conflict between supporters and police have escalated. The story would be very different now, unfortunately.

As an AIK fan who was there, the last 15 minutes were a living hell. Worst 15 minutes of my life hands down.

It's awesome that fans get so into such low level of quality football. Teams with lower 2nd and 3rd tier quality if they played in England, Germany, Spain etc. It's really great to see fans embrace their local clubs instead of just watching foreign junk on tv.

I think this was the game when we were a kilometer or so from the stadium, near Dick Turpin pub, and about 50 Firman boys(?) walked next to us with balaclavas and went to do some business with the Bajen boys. That was kinda interesting, when there were not police around.

I've been to a couple Stockholm derbys, and I have to agree, the cooperation between the Police and the fans is getting better and better with each year!! Props to the show btw! Very well put together!

Great video, especially as i'm and AIK fan living in Sweden. Believe me though, it's been a lot of troubles at these types of matches as well. The police is still being hated by a lot of football fans to the big clubs in Sweden. There is still problems, but they are'nt as many as a couple of years ago. There are alots of fights after these matches between the fans.

The extent to try and have homogenised fans and safety here is amazing. To know over policing causes more tension seems like such a no brainier but is overlooked in many countries. An SLO? dude it seems critical nowadays. As a football fan in the U.K. I would love one of them. Remember. Football is for the fans and the community

We have the same problem in Australia, the police see our supporters as criminals and we can't light flares and get rowdy but hopefully in the future we can fix this problem

Hammarby being working class is decades ago. Now Södermalm is super rich. He’s also proud that theyre from Stockholm. When I was at djurgården aik there was no policen at all, only 2 helicopters in the air and 2 arresting patrols on the streets. There was a small trouble between hannover hooligans and djurgården ultras in the end outside of the arena

If you need a few sparklers to make an atmosphere you’re looking at the wrong problem.

There needs to be more Swedish teams in Europa League instead of just Malmo. Would be nice to have Gothenburg back.

Should have been to some of the allsvenskan games this year and documented them. djurgården, Hammarby, Aik (all from Stockholm and huge rivals) plus malmö in a huge title race with three of them on the same points and djurgården 3 points ahead with 2 games to go. 2 of those games being really difficult. (norrköping - Djurgården and AIK - Malmö). The closest title race in Swedish history and huge rivalries involved.

the pyro isnt dangerous. its a symbol of the colors and passion. no pyro, no party. end. any ultras want pyro. i have close ones that support hammarby even tho i support AIK. it isnt the biggest rivalry but the biggest derby. in derby games pyro is there even if you want or not. hammarby fans are fans, AIK fans are fans. we love our club and to show it in a beatiful way we choose smokers and flares so we can show for the ones looking on the TV, the seats or outside the stadiums. we ARE the football today. if you bann pyro you will cause hate, riot, and kill football inside the stadium is the most peacefull place for fans. rarely its fight in the stadium because we dont fight there. in the stadium its a battle of the best atmosphere, specially in derbies.

AIK did win the league that year, but didn't win it until the final game of the season against Kalmar. IFK Norrköping also had a better chance than Hammarby at this stage of the season to win the league and could've won it on the final day had AIK lost to Kalmar. IFK actually beat AIK after this match was played, a few weeks later, 2-0. Was at this match though, incredible atmosphere. Disappointed with the result though 😂 wanted IFK to win the league. Good start to the 2020 season now so hopefully, fingers crossed for Peking! 😁 also, the guys you're calling police in the video aren't actually police. They're guards or I suppose we'd call them bouncers in Ireland I guess. 🤷‍♂️
