Do you crave perfectly paint corrected, polished black paint.
I thought id take the time and make a video on how to detail and correct black paint. This video will show your how to and the benefits of polishing a black car with a hand polish. The benefits of using a machine polisher to polish a black car with a finishing polish. But it will also show why we use compounds and polish to achieve perfectly detailed and corrected black paint!
Stay safe,
Joe Huntley

for light scratches on ur black care use this: turtle wax ceramic polish and coat. be sure to follow the directions. Amazing results on my black c7. swirl marks all gone. This was 3 months ago and still looking great. I only used a hand towel. + (micro fibre)

I'm just in the middle of doing my parents black a4. Paint is so hard but almost done it now. Mostly a one stage with Scholl s20. I opted for a ceramic coating, my first time doing one. Wish I had never done it now Tbh. Didn't fully remove it on some panels as it's so hard to see, but thankfully it's an old car. Still pissed off with myself as it's a rookies mistake

Do you find speed 2-3 too slow? I'm new to machine polishing but have always read using speed 4-5. Any reason to use a slower speed? Thanks
@JoeHuntley
@JoeHuntley 4 жыл бұрын
Yeah three tends to be the magic number for me. Gets the job done and doesn't warm up much. I fine you can have a lower speed and a longer polish time or, a higher speed and shorter polish time. Joe

Joe, awesome video as usual. I don’t have an indoor area to polish my cars, hand or machine. Is this ok to do it outside? Also, i doubt i could get a clean, decon and polish work done in one day, what can i do to start the second day without washing again to ensure the paint is as clean and decon free before polishing?
@JoeHuntley
@JoeHuntley 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the questions! You will be fine doing this outside. Not a problem! I would suggest to wash and decon on the first day. Park it up. The polish and protect the next day. If you have a very light layer of dust on the car in the second morning you could simple give it a wipe down with detail spray or a low pressure rinse with a hose or watering can! Let me know how you get on. Joe
