Another great carving Lajos.I really appreciate you sharing your great talent. I have had a mental block about owls. I did a couple for my aunt at Christmas that were okay but I haven't been able to get the knack of them again. This video helped me with the head. Thank you buddy.

Fantastic looking owl thanks for sharing your talant and passion for carving. I've only reasently did a couple of things in power Carving and gotten some nice comments, I have a long way to go before I try an owl but watching you gets me one step closer to giving it a go. I like the stain you used not to dark nor to lite could you share color you used, much appreciated.

The first coat i used teak oil. Clear and brings the beauty of the wood. But this case the wood turned out not so good so I decided to paint it. The paints are water based from walmart. White, matte black, and light brown. I mixed the white and the brown during the painting process. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Thanks for the video, I've been wanting to do something besides spirits and moons. What speed do you run your dremel at? I mostly work with a SR Foredom.

I love doing faces but sometimes need a little bit of change. On this wood I had to run my dremel 3000 almost full speed. I have the foredom tx but I busted the fuse untili got some I use dremel. Thx
