How To Power Wheelie a Motorcycle (The Easiest Way)

This is something I don't recommend for the long term but is an easy way to get a feel for wheelies and get comfortable with the front wheel leaving the ground. I highly recommend you learn clutch ups once you can gain some confidence with power wheelies. Thanks for watching ! =)

I finally got around to making this video. I’m very iffy about power wheelies, I feel like they’re a good tool to learn the process of getting the wheel off the ground but if you want to progress with your wheelies I highly suggest you learn how to clutch up. Good luck and stay safe! 😁👍🏻

My first wreck was an attempt at a power wheelie. I’d done it 100 times but I just jerked a tad too hard at 45 and boom, slid 40 feet 😂

When attempting power wheelies please remember to cover the back brake it could save you and your bike 👍

I imagine people with ktm 1290 super duke would prefer to watch a video about how to NOT power wheelie, since the torque is pulling so hard😄

Cool tips. Power wheelies are harder on sportbikes because they make their power high in the RPMs and 1st gear goes to like 100mph. Do it on a naked like a fz 09, hypermotard, superduke, mt10 etc and u will not have to be yanking on anything. Just give it throttle and the front will rise easy and smooth.

Worse part about power wheelies is higher the gear you need higher the rpm, which means higher speed depending on your setup

I have been riding for 3+ years with 3 different bikes. Currently have a bmw s1000rr. I have always been skeptical about learning wheelies because the clutch up just makes me nervous. Now that I know I can learn using the power wheelie method I’m gonna start slow. Thanks for this video

2021 mt 09 does power wheelies and has settings so it wont go high enough to loop your bike best thing ever when you chasing out your first gear wheelie and put it down smoothly with the quick shifter into second gear its wonderful!

Part of the reason I’m watching your video is because I accidentally power wheelied my Z1000 in 1st gear coming out of a corner being a bit aggressive with the throttle .I didn’t panic but it felt so unexpected exciting and frightening all at the same time luckily I covered the rear brake but now I want to actually learn because I was on an adrenaline rush after that. It’s happened to me before but this time I brought my bike higher off the ground which was a surprise. I’ve never been one to emphasize doing wheelies on a bike I just never cared for them but now I want to learn. Great content brother keep doing you.

I think as a beginner wheelieist (think I've just created a new word), that it is the other way around. That is, it is easier and safer to learn clutch ups. I personally believe that you get a better feel for the front end lifting on a clutch up. Power wheelies are sketch AF! As you said @SALTxTHExWOUND, power wheelies are unpredictable.
