I used to go in and pray incessantly then I thought, I don't visit anyone else and do all the talking without listening. Now I go and sit and listen, I can't hear His words but I know He speaks to my heart. Just like you can't sit in the sun without getting a tan, you can't sit in adoration without having you soul light up like a Christmas tree. Only those who go to a Holy Hour will understand this comment.❤

I need to start this now. I’m 57, a widow since 45 and have been so busy working 12 hours a day, looking after my paralysed mum and my 2 kids alone. Now that both my kids are grown up, I need to just sit in silence and spend time with my God. So blessed. He took care of me. It was really hard. I cried a lot. But He never left me.

I seek out an Adoration Chapel in every state I visit. While visiting my daughter in TN. Jesus seemed to know exactly my need to be with Him in Adoration. While attending Mass on a Wednesday morning, I was led and given a code to enter at anytime….24/7! What an amazing answer to my prayers. God blesses us in many ways🙏🏽What’s more amazing is the trust in that of the parishioner to give a complete stranger to the parish such access. We need more churches to fallow this pursuit to have parishes opened 24/7for prayer and Adoration💖✨✨✨✨✨

@Galaxy Moss Just pray the rosary or a decade or just sit and meditate on God on the cross or other. You can also take a spiritual book and read part of it or the Bible. The Way is the paraphrased version. Light a candle and pray for people and especially the poor souls in purgatory. The souls can pray for you but cannot help themselves. We have Adoration in our churches perpetually. God bless you. Be silent when you go in, father says.

My father in law died. The in laws live in a tiny town east of Indianapolis. The only Catholic Church for miles was in Shelbyville Indiana. They have a purpetual adoration chapel. Can not tell how much peace that chapel gave us.

Seer, Katalina Rivas, was given the grace to see what happens when we go to adoration. There was a man praying on his knees, Jesus came to him and gave the man a heartwarming hug. The man kept moving his mouth, oblivious of what was happening and Jesus looked up to the Father, like pleading for this man.

The key word here is "Silence" - sheer and utter silence. No chair noises. No opening of the purse noises. No cough drops wrapper noises. No book page turning noises. Sheer and utter silence. Just sit with minimal movement. The Adoration room is all about God. Just sit and gaze upon Him in the Monstrance. Silence. When you come and go from the room, make your presence scarce - other people don't need/want to hear or see you. If you have to open a door to come and go, do it as quietly and as slowly as you can so as not to make any noise. I work in a Monastery and have the privilege of sharing the Eucharistic with the sisters. They gave me an old book on Silence - only 35 pages long. I wish everyone could read it to know what silence means in the Eucharistic Adoration room. And above all - no talking there.... whispers are annoying too. Come, stay and go in sheer and utter silence.

Its true on what he said, we catholic we used to copy others prayer, but we forget that Holy Spirit teach us how to pray. As he said we just have to be in the room where we call Holy Spirit and pray what ever coming in our heart not in our brain. Sure God will hear us.
