Such a well put together video. Well done 👏 I am beginner trying to learn as best I can and this made it so much easier to understand. Though I am confused regarding the mysteries thing with the rosary. You’ve lost me there on that other video. 😅

Thanks, Dylan! Well, one of the intentions was to make it simple and clear for those who are new to it. However, it seems we may not have done a better job with the Rosary Mysteries. Let me see if I can explain it more here. So the Mysteries are the various life events of Jesus and Mary that we meditate on while praying the rosary. So we separate these mysteries into 4 different ones, Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious and Luminous Mysteries. Next, we focus on each one of them on the following days: on Mondays & Saturdays, we focus on the Joyful Mysteries on Tuesdays & Fridays, we focus on the Sorrowful Mysteries on Wednesdays & Sundays we focus on the Glorious Mysteries; and on Thursdays, we focus on Luminous Mysteries. Now each of the individual Mysteries has 5 events which we will mention before we start praying the decade. So for Joyful Mystery, we have: 1. The Annunciation of the Angel to Mary 2. The Visitation of Mary to St. Elizabeth 3. The Nativity of Jesus at Bethlehem 4. The Presentation of Jesus to the Temple; and 5. The Finding of Jesus at the Temple. So if you look at how to pray the Rosary with the Mysteries it will go something like this. 1. Sign of the Cross 2. Apostle's Creed 3. Lord's Prayer 4. 3x Hail Mary 5. Glory Be Mention "The first Joyful Mystery. The Annunciation of the Angel to Mary" (some will also use a scripture passage to help with the reflection (Luke 1:26-28)) 6. Lord's Prayer 7. 10x Hail Marys 8. Glory Be 9. Fatima Prayer Mention "The second Joyful Mystery, The Visitation of Mary to Saint Elizabeth" (some will also use a scripture passage to help with the reflection (Luke 1:39-45)) Continue likewise with your prayers. So the Mysteries are mentioned before each decade to focus and meditate on that particular event. You can also see the whole prayer flow on our website at this link: mycatholicprayers.com/the_rosary/the-joyful-mysteries/ Hope this helps in some way to provide more clarity! God bless.

can we pray it anytime of the day,or it is only for 3 oclock in the afternoon?thank you
@mycatholicprayers
@mycatholicprayers Жыл бұрын
You can pray anytime during the day, especially if you are praying for someone who is very sick or dying. The 3 o'clock refers to Jesus' passion and dying on the cross. His message to St. Faustina was to focus on Jesus' passion and implore his mercy during this time. Hence, the Divine Mercy is one of the devotions done during this time. You can also do the Stations of the Cross (if you have time to spare) or just recite the 3 O'Clock prayer (if time is short). Hope this helps!

What happens when we pray the chaplet at 3’o’clock?
@mycatholicprayers
@mycatholicprayers 3 жыл бұрын
In the diary of St. Faustina (who received the visitations from Jesus which formed this devotion) it was recorded as: The Lord Jesus said to Sister Faustina: “At three o'clock implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy for the whole world” (Diary 1320) As often as you hear the clock strike the third hour, immerse yourself completely in My mercy, adoring and glorifying it; invoke its omnipotence for the whole world, and particularly for poor sinners; for at that moment mercy was opened wide for every soul. In this hour you can obtain everything for yourself and for others for the asking; it was the hour of grace for the whole world - mercy triumphed over justice. (Diary 1572) You can discover more from website like www.thedivinemercy.org/message/devotions/hour or www.saint-faustina.org/hour-of-mercy/#:~:text=The%20Lord%20Jesus%20said%20to,world%E2%80%9D%20(Diary%201320). Hope this helps!

PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION EACH DAY 9 CHAPLETS ? IN ONE GOES..? OR IN PARTS ? WHICH DAY TO START PRAYING ? BEST TIME IN A DAY ? 3 O CLOCK
@mycatholicprayers
@mycatholicprayers 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there! The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a private devotion, hence you can pray it once daily or whenever you are able to. Depending on what is comfortable for you. If you can pray the Chaplet daily at 3pm that would be great, however if you are not free at that time, you can also just recite the Opening Prayer as well or meditate on the passion of Jesus. The 3 o'clock timing comes from the message given by Jesus to St. Faustina which is recorded in her diary: “At three o’clock, implore My mercy, especially for sinners; and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My Passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy for the whole world. I will allow you to enter into My mortal sorrow. In this hour, I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion…” (Diary, 1320). So, you can pray the chaplet once per day (if you can) or say the 3 o'clock prayer (mycatholicprayers.com/prayers/3-oclock-hour-prayer/) at 3pm. You can start praying it as soon as you can. Not necessary for it to be only said on certain days Finally, pray the whole chaplet from start to end if you can. If you think a text version will be more helpful, you can find it at mycatholicprayers.com/divine-mercy/ and just follow from start to end. You can find more information on the Divine Mercy at www.thedivinemercy.org/ as well. Hope this helps and God bless!
