Thank you, Jack. Difficult days these. Husband I think is heading into dementia and has gotten violent with his speech toward me. Moved into another room after ripping me with his words. He says he loves God, but never picks up his Bible…unless I’ve said something and he needs to disprove. I am weeping in my heart. I have loved him 48 years now and married 47 a couple days ago and pray for his little body without ceasing. Getting old has been difficult for him, and my broken nearly useless (9 spine fractures) have been difficult for him to deal with. A lot of grief in this life. Two sons gone. 😭 But Jesus Christ has held me up. I don’t think husband felt quite the same. Anyone seeing this please pray for Andy back in the woods (Viet Nam vet). Love to all.

Hang in there sweet Judith. Life is so hard, and people change. As I told my husband years ago, we should be getting better, not worse. There are always two sides to the same story. After so many years, your frustration must have come out in conversations with hubby. Could it be that he has felt attacked and so his stubbornness is his way of fighting back? I'm writing because in so many ways similar things have happened to me. My husband passed many years ago, and I find that all the things that hurt me were really not that important. I grieve for the man I married, as he became someone I didn't recognize. I believe that some of the change was due to Dr. Given drugs. I know when I pass, I'll see him the way he was when we fell in love. Heaven heals all wounds. I pray that you will be able to look past the angry comments, and let God touch your heart with love and healing. If my husband had lived we would have been married 47 years too. May God bless your saddened heart with hope ❤

@@marilyntillotson5364 Quite possibly (on words). What precipitated the explosion was me telling him that him mixing prescription medications with over the counter everything is changing him. No longer waking up offering morning beautiful’. Instead anger. I’m hoping with many preachers to just keep the kindness flowing and feeding him good foods…😊 Thank you for your encouragement.

Wow...this is perfect timing to hear about prayers. Distraction is so powerful so often that we forget to focus on Jesus. Pray that the Holy Spirit will help to remind me to remember scriptures or to depend on Him through difficult life..many things. Give all thanks to the Lord. Thank you for bringing it up to remind us.

Just pray the Scriptures as you read your Bible ... daily ... meditate on them until you take a message from Him thru your day. Google "Erwin Lutzer/ 4 spiritual disciplines". Marvelously helpful. 🤗💜🤍💜🙏💜🤍💜🙏 I hope you see this

The Bible says to pray without ceasing...this means keeping ourselves always prayerfully aware, think/speak/pray to every situation/problem immediately, ec. It's having beautiful conversations with God like any friend, standing right beside you. IT'S WONDERFUL AND COMFORTING!!!🥰

At 77 my hubby is in a home now , I had 5 blockages which I was saved with surgery ,.our 5 kids grown , one of which is a widower raising 2 teenagers , I am in prayer every waking hour. I am saved by the hand of God who has been through it all . Bless you for being there as is He .

I keep a Prayer journal for those who I Pray for so I know when they have been answered . Otherwise I keep Praying for that Person or Situation. Praise the Lord for answering all my Prayers in His way and Time !! I Never put my Limits on Him !!

Thank pastor Jack! I've learned verses by making a prayer journal. I learn best by writing them out and looking them up. I also love when you said mark up that bible...and when it's all marked up, get a new one and start over!

I don’t seem to know how to pray like pastors can pray. I have always talked to God with few words and focus more on feeling the Holy Spirit presence. I am more comfortable praying as I do rather than how someone else thinks I should. But it’s interesting to hear how others relate to our LORD. May He bless Pastor Hibbs.

WOW! This really deepened my Bible study today. I cannot read out loud as I typically do because of jaw issues. However, as a new follower of Jesus (July 4th, 2021 after Jesus sought me in June) Baptized October 16, 2021, this opened my soul and I literally felt the presence, love, peace and joy of the Holy Spirit. I read all of the NT to Revelation 13, then heard you say during a sermon online to first read Daniel which I did. Then another sermon it was stated to read the entire Old Testament ( I had read the first five Books of Moses). Now I am in Isaiah, just completed 26. So, Isaiah 23,24,25,26 WOW! I don’t have the words to describe Jesus’ beauty. His Majesty! He has truly blessed me. I thank you Pastor Hibbs for all you do to draw me closer , and closer to Jesus, Sweet Prince of Peace ✝️

When people describe how bad their situation is you tell them all of creation was spoken into being in just 6 days.Our God is far greater than any diagnosis. Side note: The keto lifestyle fixes a lot of our health issues I’m type 2 been eating keto for 4 years take no medicine. I feel great Praise God.
