Hi sir, quite a lot of people who gave CAT '23 and got what they would've assumed to be a "score"-say, 99+%ile or 95+%ile, depending on what you're aiming for-but didn’t get the outcomes they were hoping for in terms of interview calls or converts. Could be because those percentile scores don't translate to super impressive ranks because of the increase in the number of students giving CAT, or just not being able to satisfy every single one of top b-schools' elaborate list of requirements. Would love a video on how to deal with this sort of thing and how to move forward, whether that's by "settling" for a college below your original target, retaking CAT, or something else entirely. Thank you!

I'd say both and there's a heavy bias on employability of the candidates as the market is tough and they have to show good placement stats next time so they're being super selective.

I'm still confused on the reading part...do I have to comprehend everything that I read..ie; read a few para or read one para and summarize that? or just read, understand few things and go with the flow? And btw great video...the only channel that keeps me motivated...I'm everything that this video mentioned except the 93 percentile thing...I'm more of below 50 range

I think what he meant is building the habit of reading which will eventually increase your focus which will help you concentrate and focus better during each section. And of course the vocabulary that will improve overtime is an add on bonus.

Hello. Great question! You should always focus on the author's main idea when you are reading. Your job as a reader is NOT to understand each and every word/sentence. Your job is to extract the main idea correctly. :) Read each and every word (don't skip) but don't get stuck on them and try to understand each and everything. Always focus on the main idea. I'm 2019 commerce graduate .i working in my family business but there's nothing to work experience certificate..this year i got 87 parsentile ncobc category i didn't convert any iim i want to take a job and then cat 2024 ..it is good or not not for my career

Without any work experience please don't, get a job anyhow and keep appearing for CAT until you convert a college of your choice.

@@csksasi5658 bhai the chances of getting in with low score in 10,12,grad are slim , generally work experiences makes up for it , however in no experience case ,it's much more difficult
