There are several items I consider essential when preparing for your next fishing trip such as super glue, pocket knife, pliers and polarized eyewear to name a few! Check it out!

The best fishing tip video ever made. Bill Dance needs a lesson from you that is for sure. In ten minutes, you show a dozen good tips. Fix a rod, check it for bad guides and tell two wonderful stories about two famous people you had the honor to go fishing with that is just amazing. If you watch a tips video from Bill Dance you are going have to watch an intro, and two commercials and two minutes of him reading questions and then he throws in more commercials and you might learn one thing maybe, if you don’t fall asleep before the end. I love this video!

To go from talking about negative comments to talking about fishing with a former president with such a humble tone. Roland, you're a legend for more reasons than one. Thank you for what you do for the sport, sir.

The way you do your videos reminds me of a time when television was a lot better. The way you talk to the camera and make the viewer feel like they are along for the ride is 2nd to none. The lackluster stuff on TV these days can NOT compete. Keep up the awesome work, Roland and Team!!

@@marklang2050 so I'm a jackass because a stated he stretched out weights and even his own son has called him out. It was a joke jackass, and you yourself have a keyboard and are talking shit. Love it how you're so brave here on a youtube channel but face to face you wouldn't say a word. Of course you would have to come out of your mom's basement to do that. Get life and quit trying to find someone to start drama with asshole.

I TESTED THOSES GUYS OUT ON REALLY BIG SALTWATER HOOKS MANY TIMES. I NEVER GO FISHING WITHOUT MY CUTTERS. AND YES I HAVE USED THEM AGAIN. GOT TO PUSH IT THROUGH AND CUT THE BARB AND THEN TAKE A SHOT OF WHISKEY. AND THEN SAY THANK YOU LORD!

When you catch as many bass as Roland in his life time you become and expert in guessing weight. I had my line snap several times losing big fish. Saying what the heck? Checked my eyelet and the ceramic insert was messed up as you said. Great video and love your stories. Have you ever fallen in? I have a fishing buddy that has done it twice, once trying to haul in a big one.

Mr Martin, THIS IS AN IMPORTANT QUESTION!.... When you say “Watch the line!”....exactly where do yo watch it? Along the fishing pole?...as the line is entered in the water? Where do YOU look at your line? You are a wealth of information and knowledge. And you teach so amazingly by word and then you put it into action by showing how to do it. A master at teaching for sure. Thank you so much sir.

I was fishing with a buddy of mine in a jon boat in the lake behind his condo when I had a small bass I had just caught wiggle and drive a stick-bait treble hook into my hand. We went back to his house where his wife was (she's a medical tech) to see if we couldn't get it out of my hand with her help. It turned out his sister (a nurse) and her husband (an anesthesiologist) had just stopped by. His wife and sister washed my hand down with that evil purple anti bacteria stuff they put on you before surgery and then his Brother-in-law injected the spot where the hook was with some local anesthetic, waited a couple seconds and jerked that hook out of my hand. Then my buddy and I climbed back in the jon boat and continued fishing (and I didn't even get a bill for the surgery).
