I believe people are forgetting something very important about games like these. IT IS A GAME! it is meant for fun! not for speedrunning! I'm trying to take it slow so I don't end up leaving the game behind before it is even out. Yes you can optimize your game and valley by decorating it in a way that makes everything go faster and you don't have to wait. But it is the game that is waiting for you! go do what ever! you don't want to do the quest with Gothel? fine than don't do it! at some point you might need to, but you don't have to be the quickest, the richest, the most efficient player there is. You can do you. I'm just questioning myself how long I want to procastonate the beasts quest, because I don't want to stop hanging out with him simply because he has no quests anymore. In my opinion just hurry with the things that are limited; like the star paths and the dream snaps.

Agree I lost interest in the game real quick hopfully the new dlc gets me back into it. I was hooked last night. Just enjoy it

I'd recommend putting a light coloured path under your forgotten lands trees, makes it so much easier to see the dark wood!
