The cardboard tubes that are left over from the rolled vinyl is what I use to wrap the bill of the hat around to reform it. The bill of the hat lays flat against it with firm support. If need be, I can wet the bill just a bit to help, but slightly heat the bill to dry fast.

I’m trying this with flocked vinyl & a mini iron that gets extremely hot & doesn’t have any holes like a normal iron. BUT it’s wrinkling & showing the hats center lines. What am I doing wrong?? I should probably add that I’m using heat tape & the design is a solid circle. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY! ANY help would be greatly appreciated! 💜 your tutorials!
