You will learn to prevent a character from moving in Godot and this is often called a stun effect. It is perfect after your character has been hit somehow and you want to signal it to the player that his character won't move for a while. So let me show you how to make a stun effect in Godot. Everything shown in the video was based on Godot 4 or to be precise 4.2 but future versions should behave identically.
