Well, sadly, porosity is just a fact of life, but today we’re going to discuss how product developers can work with their suppliers to minimise the problem. We’re also going to explain the difference between short-shots, entrained air, and vacuum bubbles.
Pressure Die Casting is a very misunderstood process. Some people may believe this is just a matter of pouring molten metal into a die, waiting for it to cool, and then removing a finished metal part. But it's more than that.
