I don't know how long he would actually wait like that tho, even tho when i work outside in the front i leave the door open to test him and he never stepped out even tho sometimes i was out in front for hours ! At least teaching your dogs manners like that will prevent an escape just when a door opens which i hear too frequently :(

Hello ! Well how old is your pup ? The fact that he is sitting down during walks might be because he is simply too young to go for walks yet ^^. When the puppy bites the leash, of course dont pull on it or try to take it out his mouths, he might think your playing with him. Use a toy or treat to re-direct the attention. Do not reward right away or else the dog might think you are rewarding the bitting the leash. Just let him smell, or see the toy so he leaves the leash alone and than ask for a proper behavior (for exemple sitting down which is the easiest thing to teach a puppy) and than reward :)

Hey ! I am so sorry i did not see your comment until now. I never trained Joey to alert me, he started to do it by himself around 1-2 years old specially at night. When he started to growl at people passing by at night while he was in the house and them outside i would pet him to show him thats what i want ( no obsessive behavior and he wouldnt growl at people duringg the day because he is a verry friendly dog) What i did do tho for the barking is that i would let him bark once anytime he did bark if someone knocked on the door for insteance, i would use a treat or pet him and then after the first bark say "eh eh" so he knows to stop. I dont know if its clear !

the reason why i dont respond to those comments its because it makes me feel uncomfortable and the focus of the channel is supose to be on dogs, not me. I was bullied when i was younger so i have a hard time accepting myself so that is another reason why i dont show my face. I am too sensitive to have people saying negative stuff about my outer appearance, because beauty is subjective.

Ernesto Quevedo you know it takes time and repetition to train a dog. I started doing all of this when my dog was 2- 3 months until now and he is 2. It won't happen in a blink of an eye. Just be consistant in the rules your dog has to follow ^^

Mhmm yeah he doesn't know his boundaries yet. If you never told him it was not okai for him to do so, youll have to show him :D as i said, keep him on a leash and open the door that you don't want him to pass, and when he tries to pull to go, do a little correction on the leash and release the tension immediately. Your energie is super important too. Always be calm and assertive with your dog. That is the energy of a pack leader and your dog will listen to you more. Dogs don't listen (or listen less) to someone who is stressed, anxious, aggressive ect...
