Thought the video section was fun! However if you're going to state on your resume that you are a strong communicator, the video can make or break you. I would hire him only because we need the diversity of thought and personality in the office!

I didn't care for his video either. But I think the IDEA of a personal connection with a potential employer is spot on. Makes me think we should upload quick videos instead of a resume 😉

honestly, id hire someone who made a quick short describing themselves and resume, it shows crazy initiative and that you aren't shy :) try it hope you get someone to find you!

Many thanks Ken. This is such a great idea! Any tips on how to make quick videos to sell/promote ourselves e.g. to stand-out from an iphone video-clip; would a standard 60 sec 'tell me about yourself' script be a touch too formal on this platform?
