Okay and i have one more question do you have to generate key before programming or it's not necessary because i have xp200 and it keeps failing to generate when i already have a new battery

I don’t think XP 200 can do Mercedes it doesn’t have the infrared area. But you don’t need to do any generation to the key just follow the steps like in the video.
