How To Program an Infiniti G35 Remote Key Fob

An easy-to-follow video on how to program a remote key fob for a 2003 - 2006 Infiniti G35.
These Instructions are for vehicles WITHOUT push-button start:
1. Close and lock all doors with the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.
2. Insert key into ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within 10 seconds. Your Hazard Lamps will flash if you have performed this step successfully. NOTE: Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder each time. If this procedure is performed too fast, the system will not enter programming mode.
3. Insert the key into the ignition cylinder and turn to the ACC position.
4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the remote transmitter. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. NOTE: Do not press the button more than one time in the above step. If the button is pressed more than one time, the programming procedure will not be successful.
5. If there are any remaining transmitters (including the old ones), unlock then lock all doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. Repeat this step for each transmitter (including any existing transmitters). *IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE REMOTE, skip this step*
6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch, and open the driver side door.

I just got a new fob and followed instructions to a T, after I click the button on the fob the lights blink, I then take the key out and unlock the doors from the driver side door and open it. Then I test the key fob out and nothing happens.

Lasting good for me I put a good set of batteries in them and they last sm longer

Am I supposed to be using an aftermarket key for this ? I’m trying to use a oem key that comes with that car , and it’s not working. I’m jamming the key in there over 20 times and still no turn signals. My case broke and just trying to use an aftermarket key fob for it.

@@theg35channel thanks for that info, but that’s my problem at the moment. I’m not even at that stage yet. My oem physical key won’t indicate to the car I’m trying to program a key to it.

My problem is that the car is locked and I have to take the alarm off otherwise is won't even have power on the ignition or locks 😭

Hey, I love your videos. They're straight to the point and are well-informed. I recently bought a new key fob for my 04' G35 coupe. The lock and unlock button works. However, the trunk button sets off the siren. I assumed the alarm button would open the trunk. Yet, it set off the alarm. I even tried unlocking the car and pressing the trunk, and it still sets off the alarm. I tested the original, and it worked perfectly fine. I opened the trunk, and no panic. I bought a second key fob and attempted to unlock the trunk; it still set off the alarm. I was wondering if there was a simple fix to this?

Have you checked the hidden trunk on off button in glove box? Needs to be on the on position

Note: You might have to insert and remove the key more than six times if your hazard lights are not illuminating.

@@theg35channel it's the smart key turn start. I can use a key to start or just have the fob on me. It's not the push to start but it is the turn to start but I do not have to have a key.

@@theg35channel but I'm good with just having the fob to lock and unlock for now. Do u know how to program that one? I Thank it was just the 05 and 06 that was like that then the 07 was a push start.
