Just bought one for my 16 year old son to keep his 5y old brother out of his room. My oldest forgets to lock his regular door so I love that this locks on its own. I'm so excited to give it to him. No more of my little one going into his big brothers room to steal candy and video games and whatever else cool things he finds. Cool video thank you so much!!! 👍 omgosh the long cord thingy that goes under the door to unlock it. I'm 34 years old and never seen anything like that. I can't stop laughing. 😂😂😂😂😂The card trick is old school. My little sister and I would use that trick to get into our moms room when she was at work in our high-school days lol.

To prevent a card break in, the bolt has a pin on it that’s supposed to be held back by the metal trim. If it’s installed properly the bolt will be locked in position when the door is closed.

Thank you for the nice video, the nobody ask question is the batteries life, I'm changing my batteries almost every three weeks, and we are using inside home not on a bathroom train station door, is just very disappointed, I followed very closely all instructions, and its not like to build a space rocket, the USB recharged the batteries? Its it purpose?? This digital lock has wi fi capability? there is an app to it? Please enlighten me... thank you for your time!

I've had mine on my bedroom door for the past 6 months and I have not had to change the batteries yet. Maybe yours is defective.

@@oscar9468of course you can. On the inside handle you don’t need to use a code nor fingerprint etc… u just press down the handle to open the door

Once a password and fingerprint is already programmed on the doorknob, you can't just make another code and fingerprint with the doorknob. You have to reset it.

On the other side on the handle by the button there’s a little hole and you stick something in there and press it for 30 seconds or so

Whoever the first person is to program it goes through the same process of 1# and then they put their passcode finger on and then the second person puts theirs on right after their code is accepted, I just figured it out

You don’t, that is a safety issue.

The lever only locks from the outside. Locking somebody inside is possible with different hardware but as Leo said, it's a safety concern that I don't recommend.

The problem I see… If somebody knows how to set his/her fingerprint or password, just can do it from the outside, or open the door when you’re not in…
