Thank you so much! I recently purchased a replacement remote for my viper alarm and the instructions didn't work. I then called their tech support hot line and they couldn't get it to work. So, the tech tells me I have the wrong model remote, go to an authorized viper dealer to get it programmed. They were missing the first step in turning the l.e.d off before entering the pairing mode.... you saved me a ton of time and headache for something that has already caused me a lot of grief. Thank you again.

Thanks a million.... best instructions I have seen on KZfaq in awhile. If anyone is trying to follow the manual it almost works however I had to have my door shut on my vehicle where the manual tells you to have it open.

for some reason every time I hit the lock or unlock button, it doesn’t make a sound like it always does on the truck it used to beep once when you lock it and twice when you unlock it or the opposite and.bow it doesn't do that anymore is there anyway to program it where it can make a beeping sound when the truck locks or unlocks

Idk if you or anyone can answer this for my question but anything could help. My two key fobs no longer work,I cannot find the “valet” button, and am looking to replace it. Could I buy a new key fob, replace the antenna with a valet button, and program the new key fob to my pick up?

I have the signal receiver in the middle. When I got the button once the light go solid blue, when I try to hit it again and hold it to enter pairing the lights don't start flashing they just stay blue. I've tried with the door open and the key in every position. Any help?

I've been trying to find any video that can help but no luck. My key fob was unpaired and when I repaired it, only my lock button worked and acted as both a lock and unlock. I went out of my way to buy another key fob and I had the same issue arise. What can I do or what steps are next?

You have 3 different type, I wished you would have done the one to the right of what you had. That's the one that I have, the instructions did not work. My Fob, does not have a function button, but an AUX button. So, I am guess there is another method for this type.

Hello. I'm hoping that you will respond to my previous message. The Control Center blue LED light doesn't blink. I unplugged it, pushed the button and the blue LED light turns solid blue. I don't have the alarm system. Maybe that has something to do with it. I've been trying to contact Best Buy but they don't return my calls. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I already had my remote start installed. Took it to dealer and noticed that dealer accidentally ripped of bottom connectors to wires. Plug them back on and on my 2019 ram push start would not unlock, run/start truck. Would this work if reprogrammed viper remote?

On my 7857V, the top orange light is constantly on, and the bottom AUX green light keeps flashing. How do I fix that so that there are no lights on and it functions properly? My daughter tried re-programing the remote, to no avail. She started the engine instead of just turning the key to ignite. After she got back inside, it started flashing! 😫
