Some brands have a similar pronunciation in Chinese (like Coca Cola and Nike) but others are pronounced totally different (like Pizza Hut and Star Bucks), maybe these ones are like a literal translation of the brand?

'liked'. Thank you for this video. 👍 Good idea introducing Chinese names of famous brand names. 👍 Great idea having local people say the names. 👍☑ Bonus - learned how to address strangers, especially youngsters. I only knew 'xian sheng' and 'nu shi'. How can an older male call a younger male other than 'xian sheng'? I am assuming you could call the guys 'shuai ge' because you are a young woman. Also, is it ok for an older male to call a younger woman stranger 'mei nv'? Thank you.

That depends! An older male/woman in China may call a younger male: 小伙子 [xiǎo huǒ zi] - young man 靓仔 [liàngzǎi] - handsome young man 帅哥 [shuài gē] - handsome young man … or formally 先生 [xiān sheng] - sir It's ok for an older male to call a younger woman stranger 美女[měi nǚ] then explains purpose to bother her.
