In your opinion, how durable is this process? How long would you expect it to last on something that gets handled very frequently? Thanks! Just found your channel and subbed. :)
@LiquidConceptsUSA
@LiquidConceptsUSA 4 жыл бұрын
This is a very durable process if its done CORRECTLY. This is exactly the same as a cars exterior paint job. If you handle this very frequently, then you should be able to have it last quite a long time still.

This is an off topic question but ... say I messed up a dip..(mostly doing carbon fiber print) and I want to redo the entire thing. Can I just base coat over the Pre existing dip or do I have to sand it off back down to base coat ?? I’ve been sanding it down every time..was wondering if that was completely necessary?
@LiquidConceptsUSA
@LiquidConceptsUSA 4 жыл бұрын
Normally you want to scuff it up with a red scotch brite pad or 400-600 grit sandpaper and then re-base it if you mess up a dip. You dont have to take all the print off, just scuff up the base.

@LiquidConceptsUSA

You can be told to use $0.05 per square inch but you need to make sure your making money at that. Never take someones word on something like that cause they dont know your material costs, overhead and everything. You really need to make sure your profitable and not just "thinking you are cause someone told me to use 50 cents a square inch".

Don't be a busy broke fool , quote what you want for the job and if the customer doesn't want to pay it let them walk . There is ZERO point just turning money over you NEED profit to keep going and expand. One way to judge your pricing is if you get 100% of the quotes accepted you are to cheap, if you only get 40%- 50% you are to expensive, try for 70% . Also new people to ANY business DO NOT fall for the carrot danglers, you know the type - " if you do this one job cheap I will bring you all my trade " . Tell them you bring me all your trade and I will work something out for future work

So the question remains unanswered “ How to price out your job”. A lot of talk and not much said.
@LiquidConceptsUSA

@@LiquidConceptsUSA That I think is a given. No one needs to make a video about price being many factors. My 10 year old knows that. I too run a business and get asked this question many times. However, I can explain it in great detail how to come to a selling price.
@diazo5679
@diazo5679 2 жыл бұрын
@@LiquidConceptsUSA For example, in my line of business it is the industry the cost is 3x COGs. The only trick to it is then having an accurate COGs breakdown. So you could have completed your video in the title alone….or just as you stated in your reply to me “ price is based on many factors…….”
